M & L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channel or drain, benching in manhole & coping finished even and smooth with using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repairs pre-cast PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using (20 mm graded agg) cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc. 10cm in width and set in cement mortar 1:6 including demolition of old brick work / stone masonry/PCC block built in cement mortar of any description, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick concrete surfaces finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint on walls over a coat of alkali resistant primer , complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only in repairs chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standard, rails, straining bolts, etc inlcuding provision of binding wire and dismantling of old fencing wire mesh of any type etc, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs MS round bars 10 mm dia and over Fe 290 (Gde - E-165)cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally, hooking ends and fixed, complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

S &F in repairs Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) dia of neck 16 to 20mm with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work incl doors, gates but excluding framed trusses etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in MS framed work as in doors or gates of angle,tubes or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces,guard bar etc., complete, to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering) and hanging; also fastening and fixing Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality-A , complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone agg) as in PCC in Hard standing etc. with , spike rolling ,or making impression of expanded metal, while the concrete is green complete all as specified and demolition of Concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided and rubbish off the primers, complete all as specified and as directed.

Forming Construction joints 30 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with sealing compound grade 'B', complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs Providing precast cement concrete louvers and jallies, 35mm thick (measured solid) set in CM 1:4, type B0 1:2:4 , faces are finished smooth including demolition of old mouldings etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) setting in CM 1:6 work for landings, cover slabs, manholes, chajjas, water troughs, manger shleves and similar articles with plain faces and demolition of old reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position reinforcement cut required to fecilitate demolition, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bar 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape as required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, quality conforming to Fe-410-S, complete all as specified and as directed.

Running welding in repairs exc 6 mm but n exc 9mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for broken stone boulders for hard core of guage n.exc 63mm, deposited spread and levelled, laid in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair concertina coil of 610mm dia (in stretched position) hot dip galvanised steel wire coated with CLR ante corrosive coating making diamond shape with the help of devotail clips (18 SWG) fixed over barbed wire with the angle iron, the concertina coil is to be fixed with barbed wire at points where coil touch the bottom, barbed wire with the help of hog rings (14 SWG),incl removal of old one, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs 300x300x20mm thick prepolished cement concrete chequered tiles jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the floor and including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1.4 and incl demolition and removal of old flooring of any description complete all as spcified and directed. by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in sub base of floor, finished even and rough to receive top layer and all as specified and directed and demolition of concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair galvanised two strand steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed wire with 2 mm barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised MS wire staples or steel pins etc as directed (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.

Restraining and resecuring barbed wire including making good staples etc (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1: 3 : 6 type C-2 ( using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates ) Cement concrete in surface channels and drains etc incl demolition of old concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and as directed.

Machine cut kudappah stone slab 20-25mm thick, laid over and including 15mm thick cement screed base in CM (1:4), laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing, incl demolition of old flooring of any description and removing rubbish off the premises, and necessary demolition, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for welding in repairs not exceeding 10 cm length & thickness of metal to be welded not exceeding 6mm, complete all as spcified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old decorated wall surfaces including cleaning with water rubbing of fungus complete removal, applying two coat of weather proof paint "APEX" exterior wall paint incl necessary preparation to give uniform and smooth finish, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for machine pressed pre polished precast concrete interlocking paver block of any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 Grade laid over sand cushion with grey cement and no pigment incl removal of old flooring of any description by demolition etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down and refixing precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-40 Grade over sand cushion with grey cement and no pigment and including side kerb concrete, including removal and refixing the same, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for machine pressed pre polished precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-40 Grade Interlocking tiles laid over sand cushion with grey cement and no pigment and including side kerb concrete, incl removal of old and necessary demolition complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for kerb stone precast with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate, finished even and fair without using extra cement and all as specified and directed and demolition of old kerb stone (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cleaning and Removing of silt, grit , mud and other materials from covered drain in foul conditions including removing materials from the site to outside MD land including necessary removing cover slabs and replacing after cleaning complete area including making good any damages, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No. 41 :- The unit rate is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth at sides of drain of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around 1 m from drain (both sides) and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level . Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled,complete.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of cement based paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old steel and iron surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repairs for walling of random rubble, uncoursed, Bangalore type masonry, well bonded bedded and solidly hearted, built in CM 1:6, extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints as specified, key pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoarsed or brought upto courses in CM 1:4 and including demolition of old brick work / stone masonry/PCC block built in cement mortar of any description, complete all as specified and directed.

Random rubble, uncoursed, Bangalore type masonry except stone (using old stones obtained from demolition, well bonded bedded solidly hearted built in CM 1:6, extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face beds and joints as specified, key pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoarsed or brought upto courses in CM 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

Racking out joints / points in cement mortar to squared rubber masonry coursed or uncoursed and including M & L for keyed pointed in CM 1:4 for squared rubble masonry, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for broken glass coping on top of walls in cement mortar 1:3 incl taking down old glass and removing the rubbish to a distance not less than 100 m and deposited where, directed, complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 51 : The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for following :- (a) 25mm thick layer of cement mortar, glass (of bottle or thick glass) broken to approximately 63mm gauge, shall be firmly embedded at the rate of 10 Kg of glass per square metre of rendered surface, jogged edges of the glass being left projecting. (b) Taking down existing glass from coping. (c) Scaffolding for execution of work and protective measures should be taken by the contractor..

Site clearance by Scraping of grass/wild growth/trees cutting n.exc 0.30m girth etc in soft/loose soil by manually/mechanically including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 250m but n. exc 500m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Providing 50mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 graded stone aggregate as in concrete in floor of SWT, laid to slope for further treatment with using integral water proofing compound and demolition of concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

Supply only water proofing compound of approved make and ISI marked, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18-20mm thick granite slab (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills,cooking platforms, shelves in cupboard,handwash places and like including necessary cutting and grooving to walls and making good by pointing in cement mortar (1:2) using admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over and including cement screed bed in Cement Mortar (1:6) 15 mm thick, colour of granite as approved incl removal of old slab of any description, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE :- (i) Dismantling of old stone slab and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any discription or thickness in floor (i) The unit rate is deemed to be included for rounding to edges of stone slabs.

M & L for 0.50mm thick Pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall , fixed with self tapping screws incl dismantling of old corrugated AC/fibre/GI sheet of any pattern in roof incl ridge, complete all as specified and directed.

Renewing cement concrete tiles/interlocking tiles in patches, area n exc 5 Sqm including removing and cleaning old tiles, preparing beds and laying or setting, jointing and pointing new or old tiles, complete all as directed. Note : The rate included for cutting out broken tiles, removing and cleaning loose tiles, preparing bed removing rubbish, removing and repairing old with new tiles to match, complete with all cuttings etc, that may be required. New tiles required is deemed to be included all as directed. The unit rate is also including necessary beding in cement mortor/Sand filling etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick PCC type C1, 1:3:6 (using 20 mm graded aggregate) as in plinth protection, finishing the surface even and smooth with using extra cement, incl necessary demolition of existing PCC of any description, and rubbishoff the premises, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on external surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement and taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying three coats of white wash on newly plastered surfaes of walls incl preparation to give uniform and smooth finish, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 75050.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
