CERTAIN REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT, SEEPAGE AND SUNKEN PORTION TREATMENT AND MISC B/R WORKS IN OTM AND OLD JCOs/ORs MD ACCN IN ZONE-III AREA AT JAIPUR MIL STN UNDER GE (S) JAIPUR

M&L for complete removal of existing water proofing treatment from roof with wire brushes, dismantling of brick tiles and padding of any description and in any position upto mother slab of roof including cleaning ,sweeping and removing all dust / dirt by sweeping and cleaning with water and taking down debris from roof and removing the same outside the MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for surface preparation by removal of all loose particle to ensure clean , smooth and dry surface and laying PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate 25 mm thick as roof padding to cover negative slope into prop and including WPC as per manufacturer instructions, surface finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete surface of roof to receive water proofing treatment finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying fibre reinforced, single component, elastomeric liquid applied water proofing coating in white colour, anti-fungal, anti-algae, resistance to water and ageing, excellent UV resistant having Solar Reflective Index more than 105, with PU hybrid polymers and reinforcing acrylic fibers, elongation greater than 300% and applied in three layer complete all as follow :- (a) Preparation of surface by cleaning and removing loose particles then apply first coat of liquid water proofing after diluting as per manufacture instruction as a primer and allow the surface to dry for minimum 10 to12 hours complete all as specified and directed. (b) Apply second coat of liquid water proofing without dilution on the primed surface and allow time to dry the surface for minimum 10 to12 hours complete all as specified and directed. (c) Apply third coat of liquid water proofing without dilution over the second coat and allow minimum 48 hour complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Work shall be carried out by authorized applicator of manufacturer only . (ii) Necessary guarantee for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor.

M&L painted cement plastered surfaces with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltr/Sqm conforming to IS-3384 and laying APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3mm thick, weighing not less than 3.5kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150gms/sqm) shall only be used. It shall be laid by torch application. Side over laps shall be 75mm and the end lap shall be 100mm and all over laps and joints shall be sealed by torch application. For parapets, membrane shall be taken to a height of minimum 60cm and then inserted inside the parapet groove. This shall be finished by a membrane flashing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of APP based polymeric surface and applying two coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills,sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting exc 10cm but n exc 20 cm girth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying bond coat of epoxy bonding agent & cement in 1:1 ratio for bonding old and new concrete on damaged surfaces after applying anticorrosive paint over cleaned rusted steel surface including demolition old RCC surfaces (chajjas, fins, beams , borders etc and applying 30mm thick polymer modified mortar in CM 1:3 including mixing of polymer latex additives for repair of Chajjas fins, border etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Cleaning of rusted part of steel and applying anticorrosive paint over it. (ii) Qty of polymer to be used 15% by weight of the cement or as per manufacturer instruction. (iii) Use of electrical mixer to get the homogeneous dough on bond coat surfaces. (iv) To achieve required thickness repeat this step after 24 hrs as required. (v) Keep the surfaces moist using water fog for 5 to 7 days etc complete all as specified and as directed. (vi) Rate shall be inclusive of all necessary scaffolding for building of height upto two storey. Make :- (i) The epoxy bonding agent shall be Krishna / Dr Fixit / MC Bauchemie / M/s Cemistik / Sika or equivalent as per approved makes. (ii) Polymer latex addictive shall be of Sika / Fosroc / Dr Fixit or equivalent as per approved makes.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) and removal of rubbish from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for drilling suitable holes in reinforced cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 10D (D-dia of bar in mm) in RCC beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce new steel bars including cleaning the holes by air blowers prior to fixing the new steel bars in position using Lokfix E77, a two-component epoxy anchoring material, supplied in 3:1 ratio having compressive strength (EN196) not less than 122 N/sqmm, Flexural Strength (EN196) not less than 66 N/sqmm, E Modulus (EN ISO 527-2) 6300 N/sqmm or of equivalent make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge for 10mm shear connectors. Note : 1. Anchoring chemical shall comply with ETA 21/0354, ETA 21/0518 for anchoring bars for 10mm dia complete all as specified and directed. 2. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.
