New construction of road from SH_11 Babbanpur to NH_7 Harigarh under Special Central Assistance Scheme (Phase_II) including Maintenance of road for 5 years

Compaction of earth work & Preparation of sub grade including loosening, leveling of earth 225mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 300-2 as per Technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications. (In case of link roads earth work to be done by villagers) as per CSR Item No.24.4 c

Providing and laying of Brick on end edging 6.83 cm wide, 11.11 cm long and 22.86 cm high half brick deep including excavation, refilling and disposal of surplus earth up to 50 metre complete as per Punjab PWD specifications.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing material as per grading-III (Table 400-I of MORT&H 5th revision), mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per technical clause 401 of MORT&H specifications

Water Bound Macadam Grading I (without screening ) Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of Grading I to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications

Water Bound Macadam Grading II (without screening ) Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of Grading II to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and laying surface dressing in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG-10 @ 1kg per sqm laid on prepared surface after cleaning the road surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.40 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface/granular surface treated with prime coat after cleaning the surface complete as per technical specifications

Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30mm to 45mm thick with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4%, laying with a ydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of MORT&H specifications. NOTES:- (i) Job mix formula for the bituminous concrete shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from Punjab PWD, B&R Research laboratory Patiala before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specifications of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 5.4% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid/ deducted accordingly. The limits of variations shall be worked out with the approved formula. TECHNICAL NOTE:- i.) Apart from the conformity with the grading and quantity requirement of individual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 507 of MORT&H specifications. ii.) The final grading for the aggregates required for bituminous concrete confirming to table 500.17 of MORT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the bituminous concrete designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). iii.) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details, source and location of all material:- (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates (f) Density of bituminous concrete after compaction will be not less than 2.35 gm/CC.

Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 to MORT&H specifications as per CSR 24.60 a

Construction of Shoulder with good quality earth obtained from borrow pits including compensation of earth, loading, unloading, carriage to site of work, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement as per clause 3003 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-35 grade machine made rubber moulded smooth finish with strong vibratory process or with vibrohydraulic compaction machine and of approved size and design / shape laid in Ordinary Grey and pattern over and including 40 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying factory made rubber moulded smooth finish cement concrete Kerb M-20 grade 250mm high with bottom width 165mm and top width 115mm made over strong vibratory table and fixing with cement mortar 1:2 as per MORT&H specifications

Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 0.25kg per sqm area as per IRC:35 1997 complete as per technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Providing & erecting "W" type metal beam crash barrier single sided comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail 70cm above road or ground level fixed on channel vertical post 150x75x5mm spaced 2mtr centre to centre 1.80mtr high, 1.1mtr below road or ground level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 & IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm, 330mm long fixed firmly into ground with vertical hydraulic self driving machine for vertical post complete as per approved drawings and technical clause IRC: 119-2015.

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beeds capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause 804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications

Hazard Marker sign board 300x900mm rectangular as per IRC 67- 2012 with high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 09 and IRC 67 2012, fixed over 4mm thick Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) sheeting having skin thickness of 0.4 to 0.5 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame of 25x25x3mm angle iron supported on a square hollow steel section post 60x60x3.2mm conforming to IS 4923 firmly fixed to ground including foundation concrete M-25 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m for vertical post complete as per clause 801 of MORT&H specifications b) Using high intensity Microprismatic grade retro reflective Sheeting Type IV as per ASTM D 4956 09 and as per IRC 67 2012

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade Km kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC 8-1980 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per technical clause 804 of MORT&H specifications ( 24.37C)

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade 200 metre stone of standard design as per IRC 26-1967 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per technical clause 804 of MORT&H specifications (2438)
