   To be eligible for ordering bidder should meet one of the following criteria: (1) Bidder should be BIS licensee firm for IS 6911. Such bidder should upload along with their offer a copy of valid license issued by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for IS 6911 OR (2) Bidder should be authorized dealer of BIS licensee firm for IS 6911. Such bidder should upload along with their offer a Tender Specific Authorization from BIS licensee firm for IS 6911 AND a copy of valid BIS license of their OEM for IS 6911

   1. EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender. 2. Authorized dealers are advised to remit the EMD amount for consideration of the offer.

   ISI Marking: : Material shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards for IS 6911.

   Manufacturer Test Certificate: :Material shall be accompanied with a Test Certificate bearing the Standard Mark, issued by the Bureau of IndianStandards certified manufacturer for IS 6911, with each consignment.

4. 3.1

   (1) SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) shall be 5 % of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 10.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender. (2) In case of submission of Security Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee, please refer Annexure-5 (page 55-56) of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link, for the PROFORMA. (3) Security Deposit should remain valid for a minimum period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of all the contractual obligations of the supplier, including warranty obligations

   Submission of Security deposit before release of PO is only acceptable. Requests for deduction of Security deposit from firm's first bill or any other contract's running bill is not acceptable

   Unloading of the material should be done by the supplier only.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of offers: Offers should be valid for 90 days after closing date of tender. Any offer having lesser validity shall be deemed as commercially unresponsive and will be summarily rejected.

I/We hereby certify that no other concerns or affiliates (such as having common partner/director/promoter/owner/ holding company decision control etc.) have participated in this tender which can give rise to a conflict of interest or fall under anti- competitive practices. I/We understand that the offers of all such sister concerns including ours are liable to be rejected as per relevant provisions of IRS terms and conditions, and enclosures. I/We affirm that we shall abide by the Code of Integrity in general, with specific reference to conflict of interest, anti competitive practices and obligation to proactive disclosures. I/We understand that we are fully responsible for the above declaration and it shall not be the Railway's responsibility to verify the same. I/We are aware that we shall be liable for all consequences of violation of Code of Integrity, if detected, at any stage.
