Strengthening to the road from Edayarpalayam to Chinnakuyili Km 0/0 - 1/970 (R-214) H/O Edayarpalayam

Clearing the scrub jungle by uprooting including all cutting charges and disposing of the products and clearing as directed by departmental officers including all incidental charges etc. complete.

Picking the existing mettaled surface and sectioning including all labour charges etc, complete.

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water as per 20A

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.7 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WBM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp.

Bituminous macadam of 50 mm thick shall consist of Construction in a single couse of compacted crushed aggregates premixed with bituminous binder of 80/100 grade at the rate of 3.5 % by weight of total mix to serve as base / binder course in accordance with MORTH rev IV cl.504 specification and in confirmity with drawing.

Providing and laying Bituminious concrete which shall consists of construction of a single course binder /wearing corse on a previosly prepared Bituminousbase to the requirements of the specification using 60/70 grade bitumen as per MorRTH specificaton CI.508. 25mm thick

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for side berms Km 0/0-1/0

Road Marking by providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic Compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Providing and erecting of Retro - reflectorized cautionary , Mandatory and Informatory signs (without definition board) made out of High Intensity Prismatic Grade Sheeting confirming to Type - IV standards of IRC - 67: 2012 and ASTM D -09, Specification and fixed over 2mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed over a black supporting frame of25MMx25mmx3mm Mild steel angle and supported on a mild steel angle post 75x75x6 mm with a clear height of not less than 2.10m from the ground level to the bottom of the sign board and 0.60m below ground level. The sign post should be painted as per IRC 67-2012 and firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundadation with M15 grade cement concrete 45cmx45cmx60cm size including cost and conveyance of all materials , equipment , Machinary and labour with all leads and lifts, loading charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work as directed by the engineer in charge. Higj intensity Retro Reflectro sheet shall consist of minimum coefficient of Retro - reflection as per Table 6.6 of IRC 67-2012. The retro - reflective sheeting shall be covered under 7 year warranty issued for field performance and a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report shall be obtained as per IRC 67 - 2012 ( as per MORTH Specification No 801)

Supply and Fixing of AFP Sheeting flexible Prismatic Sheeting Shall be of 1Ft width and Laminated at the back with micron thick Aluminum (Al) Foil with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive and Lines Further this is flexible prismatic Sheeting shall have Screen printed arrow?Slant line Pattern in black colour on top in continous roll format. Further AFP Sheeting nor the flexible prismatic sheeting used shall crack whwn slowly bent in second time around 8th inch mandrel after being conditioned for 24 hours at 0 degree.

Construction of 1.5m span RCC slab culvert at Ch 960 m

Earth work excavating and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10m and initial lead of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton soil, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders (SS20B) etc., complete in all respects as directed by the departmental officers.

Filling with clean good course sand including cost and conveyance of sand to worksite, laying, handling charges and filling in layers, tamping under optimum moisture content to get the maximum density including watering with all leads for water and all other incidental charges etc., complete

Plain Cement concrete 1:4:8 (One of cement, four of sand and eight of hard broken stone) using 40mm size hard broken stone for foundation inclusive of shoring, strutting, bailing out water, ramming, curing etc., complete in all respects as directed by the departmental officers..

Plain Cement concrete 1:3:6 (One of cement, three of sand and six of hard broken stone) using 40mm size hard broken stone inclusive of shoring, strutting, bailing out water, ramming, curing etc., complete in all respects as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including supports for all reinforced cement concrete works like lintels, beams, etc., including strutting 3M high using Mild steel sheets of size 90cm × 60cm and B.G. 10, stiffened with Mild steel Angles of size 25mm × 25mm × 3mm laid over Silver oak (cw) joists of size 10cm × 6.5cm (Spaced about 91cm c/c) including removing the same after specified period without damaging RCC works in all floors etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers complying with relevant standard specifications - Deck slab

Supplying, fabricating and placing Ribbed Tor steel rods for reinforcement for all reinforced cement concrete works such as plinth beam, lintels, beams, sunshade, roof and floor slabs etc., including cost of steel and fabricating the reinforcement grills in position etc., complete in all floors (The rate to include the cost of binding wire steel also)

Cement concrete 1:2:4 (One of cement, two of sand and four of hard broken stone) using 20mm size hard broken stone inclusive of shoring, strutting, bailing out water, ramming, curing etc., complete in all respects as directed by the departmental officers

Reinforced Cement concrete 1:1½:3 (One of cement, one and half of sand and three of hard broken granite stones ) using 20mm gauge hard broken granite stones for all reinforced cement concrete works excluding the cost and fabrication of reinforcement grills in position, shuttering, centering but including laying, vibrating, curing, finishing and providing Mild steel fan hooks in the RCC slab wherever necessary as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete in all respects

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP- 20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost
