Taking up old unserviceable Cast Iron water mains of size 250 mm dia with spigot and socket/flange ends including all fittings and lead joints complete all as directed. [Note : The length shall be measured net over all pipes and fittings alon the centre line of pipes and fittings]

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth,for foundations/taking out /laying of DI Pipe lines etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply and lay of Ductile Iron spigot and socket pipes of size 250 mm dia as per IS 8329/2000 class K7 in trenches/walls/floors including EDPM rubber gasket suitable for push on rubber gasket joint with inside cement mortar lining and out side zinc bitumen coating with specials and fittings complete all as specified and directed. S&F Ductile iron fittings for spigot and socketed / flanged ends, such as bends, tapers, collars, caps, plugs, Tee single and double junction / branch cross etc., all as specified for bore up to 250 mm complete all as specified and directed. S&F 250 mm dia cast iron sluice valve both ends flanged non- raising stem type with SS-410 spindle and hand wheel suitable for pressure rating of PN : 1.6 as per IS- 14846/2000 duly dirlled holes for fixing of nuts and bolts, stem made of high tensile brass ISI marked and conforming to IS 780 Part I including 3 mm thick rubber gasket 2 Nos, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 150 mm dia cast iron air release valve (H-type) with double air outlets chamber,kinetic design as per IS- 14845 , duly drilled holes for fixing up in cast iron water supply mains with nuts and bolts including 3 mm thick rubber gasket, nuts, bolts and washers etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cutting the existing road/floor/plinth/PCC drain for laying of DI pipe line including necessary earth work excavation and getting out in any type of soil, return filling,removal of surplus soil and filling top surface with 300 mm width and100 mm thick by using PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) and for making good the distrubed surfaces neatly finished to match with the existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L (1:4:8) type D2 ( using 40mm graded stone aggreagate) as in foundation for mass concrete,thrust blocks,etc complete all as specified.

M&L (1:2:4) type B1 ( using 20mm graded stone aggreagate) as in foundation for mass concrete, thrust blocks,etc including necessary form work complete all as specified.

M&L for construction of brick masonary valve chamber of internal size 1200x 1200x 900 mm with foundation of 150 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2(using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) and brick masonry 230 mm thick walls built in CM 1:6 and 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on brick wall inside and external up to 15 CM below GL and 50 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for coping on top of walls including providing of 65x65x6 mm thick angle iron frame grouted to brick wall with 3.15 mm thick MS sheet cover with hinges, lifting handle and locking arrangement,etc duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including earth work excavation in any type of soil,return filling,removal,etc complete all as specified and directed.
