ROAD PATH & CULVERTS

Rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power road roller watering as necessary including filling in hollows and depressions and consolidating to required level, gradient and camber complete and all as specified.

Providing, Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) Grading as per Grade-II, as per Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 in a single layer over compacted sub grade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using mortar grader of adequate capacity and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of at least 98% of the maximum Dry Density, consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as speccified and directed. Note : The finished surface tolerances as per table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for road and Bridge works.

Providing, Laying , campaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) 125mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075mm), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density required gradient and camber etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes : 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose, both layers shall be considered as on unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surfaces by sweeping clean by broom or mechanical sweeping and removing completely all loose material and other foreign and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumin Emulsion SS1 grade, confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 (Fifth Revision), using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of bituminous surface and applying evenly a tack coat conforming to clauses 503-5 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge Works 2013 (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade, confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10square metre using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete and all as specified.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) confroming to Clause 504 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percetage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density completed all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formule as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fiffth Revision) for bitumious concrete shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respetive items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 55.00 per Kg and if qty of binder content is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to clauses 503-5 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade, confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10sq meters using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete and all as specified.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete(BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for raod and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates, of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thorougly mixing with binder of specifed bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.

Prepraring bituminous surface of road and marking 2.00mm thick centre line, stop line, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n exc 10 cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retro- reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Supply and fixing Ductile iron fittings such as bends (any type, radius and angle) Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, tail pieces with one end flanged (integrally cast) and one end socket/spigot caps and plugs suitable upto 100 mm bore ductile iron pressure pipes of K-9 classification including nuts, bolts, washer and push on flexible rubber gasket joints, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe 100 mm bore, with socket & spigot ends ISI marked with IS 8329/2000 classification K9, In standard length of 5.5 - 6 m suitable for and including push on tyton joint with cement mortar lining in the pipes, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-Ductile iron fittings will be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and laying centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe 80 mm bore, with socket & spigot ends ISI marked with IS 8329/2000 classification K9, In standard length of 5.5 - 6 m suitable for and including push on joint (gasket D jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-Ductile iron fittings will be measured and paid for separately.

Supply and fixing Foot Valve of size 80 mm bore conforming to IS 4038, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing centrifugal pump, electric driven motor suitable for 440v, 3 phase 50 HZ confirming to IS-12469:1988 with CI casing bronze impeller and stainless steel shaft mounted on heavy duty bearing suitable for 475 LPM discharge,30M head inclusive PCC foundation and MS common base frame complete all as specified and directed. Note: ( 01 working + 01 standby)

Construction of valve pit of size 1000x1000x900mm with concrete block construction with wall thickness not less than 200 mm including all necessary excavation and earth work in hard dense soil returning filling in disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where as directed. PCC in foundation (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate 150 mm thick, PCC in coping on top 1:2:4, type B1 using20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate50 mm thick including rendering 15 mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on exposed surface and two coat of white wash on exposed surface on external wall above ground level and angle iron frame 50x50x6 mm MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick with hinges, handle and locking arrangement. Painting all MS work with two coat of synthetic enamel paint a coat of red oxide primer and painting all the MS surface embedded in PCC with two coat of black bitumen paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation & testing of flanged ends brass analog type water meter ISI marked , woltman type Class-B of 100 mm bore size and making good connection with flange ends with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/vertical position including all type of fittings etc complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 400 KVA outdoor transformer floor mounted 11KV on HT side and 433 volts on LT side at no load step down 3 phase 50 c/s AC double wound oil immersed air natural oil natural with external cooling tubes core type. Transformer with off load tapping on HT side to vary secondary voltage +- 7.5% in steps of +-2.5 %. The transformer shall confirm with the requirement of IS-2026 and oil shall confirm to IS-335,1983. The temp rise shall not exceed 55 degeree centigrade in winding and 45 centigrade in oil when measured by the resistance method after continous full load run and on ambient temp of 48 degree centigrade, copper wound, (losses shall be as per IS-1180 Part I 2022 level 2), all as specified. The transformer shall be complete with the following:- (a) HV Bushing of suitable size. (b) LV glands and cable box of suitable size. (c) Oil conservator. (d) Dehydrating breather with first fill of dehydrating agent. (e) Thermometer pocket with thermometer dial of suitable size. (f) Two Earthing terminals on tank and take cover with lugs to suit 32x6 mm GI strip. (g) Rating Plate. (h) Terminal marking plate. (i) Oil level gauge. (j) Oil drain and filter valve. (k) Lifting lugs (l) Four plain rollers. (m) Oil filter plug with connection complete. (n) Extra bushing for neutral outside the cable box for providing independent earthing. (o) Oil filling hole with cap. (p) First filling of oil. (q) Cable box on LV side with cable gland Note: (i) Drg of transformer must get approved from GE before execution. (ii) Pre-commissioning of transformer shall be carried out by "SEI".(iii) Necessary T&P required for testing shall be provided by contractor. (iv) Pre-dispatch inspection shall be carriedout at manufactururs premises by rep of accepting officer.

Material & labour for platform for transformer of size 3000 x 2500 x 1200 mm with brick masonry construction in cement mortar 1:4,150 mm thick, PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 150 mm thick in foundation 30cm depth , PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 40 mm thick in floor over sub base PCC (1:4:8) type D-2, 75 mm thick, brick masonry step on one side, 15mm thick plastering to brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4 and two coats of white wash on plastered surface including excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

(iii) Fuel tank of 8 hours capacity madeout of 14 SWG CRCA MS sheet, duly powder coated and provided with float, gauge and fuel float switch – 01 Set (iv) Foundation of DG Set shall be as recommended by OEM and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) Pre-commissioning testing of DG set be carriedout by the rep of Accepting Officer.Fuel for ”Pre-commissioning test” shall be provided by the contractor. (ii) Maintenance free Battery of suitable capacity as per the recommendation of the OEM shall be provided by the contractor.

DEMOLITION

Disconnecting the power supply and taking down carefully by unscrewing from boards fitting and fixture such as DBS juction box, panel of any size complete with all MCCB MCBS etc and removing from site comlete and as directed bu Engr -in-charge.

Taking down old unserviceable sub main wiring of meter any size complete and as directed by Engr -in-charge

MANNING AND OPERATION OF LIFTS:-

Manning & Operation of Lift electrically operated Microprocessor controlled complete with power driven automatic stainless steel (SS) sliding doors and having SS car enclosure of size, 8 passenger at a speed of 1.0m/sec to serve upto 05 floors (G+4 Floors) including automatic rescue device after completion of work. The defect if any shall be attended or intimated immediately to concerned incharge. ) (1 lift attendant for 03(three) lifts per day) (Morning shift from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs) Notes: (i) The Lift operator employed should be ITI and should have Minimum 4 year experience of lift operator. (ii) Lift operator shall also be responsible for RESCUE in case Lift gets stuck.
