Tender for Removal and disposal of silt deposited in bed of approach channel of PH I 3x105 MW by using Dredging Pump Dredger at THP Sirmour

Removal of deposited silt (comprising of polythene, debris, sand, Skelton & small stone pieces and wooden logs etc) under the flowing water of approach channel (the top level of intake structure platform is 282.0 M, maximum water level of approach channel is 280.0 m, the bed level of approach channel is 262.0 M having bottom width of 52 m) up to a distance of 500 meter from trash rack of intake structure. The silt will have to be removed/dredged from expected level 271 .0 M near trash rack which may vary as the distance increases away from trash rack to bed level and disposed off at level of 282 m ( i.e. ground level nearby the approach channel) . The work will have to be done by Dredging and Suction (Cutter) using ejector; the non pumpable objects will have to be removed by grab dredging. The suction pump/ejector dredger applied in the work may be diesel or electrically operated. The dredged material will have to be disposed off about 100 M away from the approach channel to existing low laying area which will have to be make in a regular shape for taking measurement by making lagoon or temporary bund, if required.(To avoid percolation of silt into the ground, contractor has to lay HDPE/LDPE film/ heavy duty plastic sheet whichever is suitable, over the measurable area of ground for which no extra payment will be made to the contractor).The rate will include all cost of machinery, T&P, transportation/ mobilisation charge of machinery, cost of diesel or connection and running charges of electricity if machine/equipments electrically operated, cost of labour, cost of making measurable area near by the approach channel for taking the measurement and all statutory taxes except GST. The work shall be executed as per the direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
