VEGETATION CLEARANCE

Clearing road side vegetation Cleaning and grubbing road land including uprooting/cutting of trees using saw machine, wild vegetatin, grass, bushes,shurbs,sapling ,removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier, transportation & disposal of unsrserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material (logs etc) using cranes to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness as per Technical Specification 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specifications Clause 201 for Rural Roads of MORD.

DRAIN CLEARANCE

Hill side Drain Clearance 01 time pre monsoon and 01 time post monsoon.The maintenance of drains include erosion, repair,clearing, cleaning, reshaping, regarding, deepening of side drains as well as catch water drains as per technical specification Clause 1907 for Rural Roads of MORD

LANDSLIDE CLEARANCE Providing and supplying followings equipments including driver, labour, loading/unloading arrangements, fuel lubricants and attachment for maintenance work when required as per the instruction of the Engineer.l

Road Marking

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H

Aluminium Alloy Plate for Over Head Sign Providing and erecting overhead signs with a corrosion resistant 2mm thick aluminium alloy sheet reflectorized with high intensity retro-reflective sheeting of encapsulated lens type with vertical and lateral clearance given in clause 802.2 and 802.3 and installed as per clause 802.6 over a designed support system of aluminium alloy or galvanised steel trestles and trusses of sections and type as per structural design requirements and approved plans (Reference to MORT&H's specification 802).

Painting on Inclined/vertical surfaces: on the vertical or inclined surfaces of concrete along with writing/writing NHIDCL with colours and design as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Painting is to be done with a brush on new surfaces, immediately after removal of shuttering, including supply of all materials etc and other incidental charges complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge

GABION WORKS

Excavation in Soil by Manual Means (Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means including loading in truck for carrying of cut earth to designated dumping yard).

Gabian Structure for Retaining earth (Providing and constrcution of a gabian structure for retaining earth with segments of wire crates of size 7mX3mX0.6m each divided into 1.5m compartments by cross netting, made from 4mm galvanised steel wire @32kg per 10sqm having minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa conforming to IS:280 and galvinising caoting conforming to IS:4826, woven into mesh with double twist, mesh size not exceeding 100X100mm filled with boulders with least dimension of 200mm, all loose ends to be tied with 4mm galvanised steel wire.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering

Providing & laying Plum concrete in 1:1.5:3 c.c. (1cement, 1.5coarse sand, 3clean hard graded stone chips of 20 mm down nominal gauge) with 50% clean hard stone of sizes not exceeding 15cm excluding shuttering, compacting and curing complete.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications

Strengthening Works

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Borrow pit /pre work post work measurement)

Mix in place Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Wet Mix Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base/ base course on well prepared surfaceand compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density)
