PART-I Pre-Engineering survey and Geo technical Investigation, laboratory test
Carrying out Seabed survey (Bathymetry) to establish seabed topography covering an area of 200 x 200 m around the Flat Rock of Invisible Bank with suitable survey lunch, equipment, such as multibeam Echo sounder, Sidescan sonar, Sea bed profiler, etc., and positioning system with sub meter accuracy such as SBAS or code corrected DGPS system, to obtain accurate seabed bathymetry (XYZ data) in WGS 84 reference system, to develop required 3D and 2D Digital Terrain Model (DTM), reduced to chart datum using predicted tides of Port Blair, and submission of seabed survey charts in 2D and 3D (DTM) formats, in required scale for detailed designing, planning and execution of project component, including cost of vessels, equipment, hire, charter, manpower, transportation, tools & plants, machineries, insurance, port charges, taxes, duties & levies other than goods and service tax, labour charges, POL, software & hardware, etc., complete.
Carrying out Geotechnical investigation at the site with exploratory marine bore holes of suitable size, for a depth 15 meter below the sea bed or 10 meter below the hard rock strata, whichever is higher, at suitable locations of approach structure and lighthouse tower foundation, including collection of disturbed and undisturbed samples of seabed material, core logging, in-situ strength tests etc., and conducting necessary laboratory tests to obtain design parameters for planning, designing and execution of work and submission of report, logs, charts, etc., as per International Code / IS Code provision as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, including cost of drilling barges, equipment, hire, charter, manpower, transportation, tools & plants, machineries, insurance, port charges, taxes, duties & levies other than goods and service tax, packing, labelling, transportation, software & hardware, POL, labour charges, etc., complete.
Part II - Evaluation of Detailed Engineering and vetted from govt. Institute
Collection and compilation of Meteorological and Oceanographic data, such as wind, wave, tide, current, etc., required for evaluation of Detailed Engineering and Design of Sub-structure and Superstructure of entire project components required for the work, and Evaluation of Detailed Design based on the approved metaocean data, seabed survey, Geotechnical reports including preparation & submission of Detailed Design report, Engineering Drawings, Good for Construction drawing, etc., as per IS / International Codal provision, and vetted by the reputed Government Institutes (IIT or NIT), including cost of manpower, equipment, tools & plants, machineries, software & hardware, labour charges, vetting charges, etc., complete.
Part - III - Mobilisation, Hiring and Demobilisation of Jackup Barge and Marine Spreads for the work
Mobilization of suitable Jackup Barge, of adequate capacity, as working platform and required marine spreads to the site, including equipment and machineries, of adequate capacity & capability, as per equipment plan, such as Piling Rig, mobile / fixed crane, floating barges, staging, lighting equipment, DG sets, supply vessels, work boats, batching plant, mixers, vibrators, and any other enabling structures required for execution of project, including cost of equipment, hire, running, charter, transportation, tools & plants, machineries, insurance, port charges, taxes, duties & levies other than goods and service tax, labour charges, etc., complete.
Hiring, running and operation of Jackup Barge, of adequate capacity & capability, as working platform at adequate height above high tide level, with valid statutory certificates, Insurances and required marine spreads at the site, including equipment and machineries, of adequate capacity & capability, as per equipment plan, such as piling rig, mobile / fixed crane, floating barges, staging, lighting equipment, DG sets, supply vessels, work boats, batching plant, mixers, vibrators, and any other equipment required for execution of project, including cost of manpower, equipment, hire, running, charter, POL, transportation, tools & plants, machineries, insurance, port charges, taxes, duties & levies other than goods and service tax, labour charges, etc., complete. The details of works are as below, 1. Construction of 1500 and 1200 mm Bored Cast in-Situ RCC Piles (Weightage 50%) 2. Construction of Superstructure of Approach (Weightage 30%) 3. Construction of Lighthouse Tower (Weightage 20%) The Payment will be made on pro-rata basis as per the weightage mentioned above for on completion of respective project component.
Demobilization of Jackup Barge and marine spreads from the site, including equipment and machineries, used for the project, including cost of equipment, hire, running, charter, transportation, tools & plants, machineries, insurance, port charges, taxes, duties & levies other than goods and service tax, labour charges, etc., complete.
Part - IV - Construction of Bored In-situ RCC Piles, Pre-cast and Cast in-situ RCC Platforms of Approach Structure and Lighthouse Tower
Positioning, shifting and setting up of Jack-up Barge, piling plant and suitable equipment, tripods, winch / Pile driving rig, bailers, chiselers, Reverse Circulation Drilling (RCD), floating barges, cranes of adequate capacity, accessories, etc. (as per the methodology of work) at each location for providing of 1500 / 1200 mm. dia. bored cast in-situ RCC piles, including positioning of Vertical structural steel liner for boring work, pile reinforcement cage and concreting the pile, including the cost of fabrication and erection of pile driving plant, staging with various steel plates, girders, angles, channels , steel items, welding charges, strutting and fixing in position at each location , transportation charges of all materials to worksite, all labour charges and minor tools etc. complete.
Fabrication Position and Erection of 8mm thick structural steel cylindrical liner with stiffeners of 8 mm thick at bottom of piles and joints etc for 1500/1200 mm dia Bored cast-in-situ RCC pile, including cost of structural steel plates confirming to IS: 2062, Grade E250, manpower, transporting to the pile location, placing in position, aligning, staging, welding and driving the liner below existing sea bed level, cost of all other materials, transportation charges , all labour charges, hire charges, minor tools, rolling, cutting, welding etc., complete. Note:Payment shall be made upto cutoff level.
Boring / drilling/chiseling and bailing out through all types of soil/rock strata for 1500 /1200 mm. dia vertical pile, from the top of flat rock /existing sea bed level to founding level (hard rock)with the help of jack-up barge and suitable equipment, tripods, winch / Pile driving rig, bailers, chiselers, Reverse Circulation Drilling (RCD), floating barges, cranes of adequate capacity, accessories, etc. (as per the methodology of work) at each location including cost of manpower, POL, all labour charges, minor tools and plant etc. complete. (Note: The sample of bored materials at regular interval shall be collected and produced for verification at no extra cost and in case of any dispute the samples so collected shall be referred to an authorized / registered laboratory by the DGLL or his representative and the decision of such authorized laboratory is final and binding on both the parties, however the cost of testing shall be borne by the contractor).

Providing and laying design mix concrete of M40 grade for RCC works in accordance with IS 456 (Latest Edition) using coarse aggregate from mainland quarry, mainland river sand /M-sand and 53 grade Ordinary Portland cement confirming to IS 12269, adding silica fume and approved plasticizer as per design mix bored in cast-in-situ RCC piles by using tremie with hopper arrangements, excluding cost of fabrication, fixing of reinforcement , but including cost of cement, stone chips, mainland river sand/Msand, Silica fume & Plasticizer, cost of all labour charges, mixing, conveying, placing, compacting, screening and washing of coarse aggregate and mainland river sand/M-sand, transportation charges of all materials to the Work Site, hire charges and running charges of batching plant, vibrator, consumables and all other equipment, cost of all tools & plants etc. complete. Dressing / chipping of the RCC pile head of 1500/1200 mm dia including cutting of steel liners & trimming of extra concreted pile above the designed cut off level and exposing the reinforcement to receive fresh concrete for beams, bracing, pile caps etc., bending the reinforcement for new works, staging including cost of all equipments, scaffolding, all labour charges, minor tools etc. complete.

Providing pre-cast reinforced cement concrete of design mix grade M40 in accordance with IS 456 (Latest Edition) using coarse aggregate from mainland quarry, mainland river sand/M-sand and 53 grade Ordinary portland cement confirming to IS 12269, adding silica fume and approved plasticizer as per design mix in pre-cast beams, pile muff etc. as indicated in the approved drawing and as directed by Engineer-in Charge excluding cost of fabrication, fixing of reinforcement, ,but including cost of cement, stone chips, mainland river sand, silica fumes & plasticizer, cost of centering and steel shuttering, cost of all labour charges, mixing, conveying, placing, compacting, screening and washing of coarse aggregate and mainland river sand, transportation charges of all materials to the Work Site including shifting and positioning of precast members, hire charges and running charges of batching plant, vibrator, consumables and all other equipments, curing, cost of minor tools etc. complete. Supplying, Installation and Testing of Cast Iron bollards of 30 T pull capacity confirming to relevant IS specifications with all fixtures such as anchor bolts, nuts and washers, painting including fixing the bollards in position on the proposed structure, fixing the anchor bolts with template arrangements at the required locations at desired level and alignment as directed by Engineer-in Charge, including cost of bollards, anchor bolts, nuts & washers etc, painting with anticorrosive paints (02 coats), cost of transportation charges of bollards and bolts to worksite, Welding charges, testing and certification, all labour charges and minor tools, etc. complete.
