Supply and Installation of Roof drain flexible hose for Surge Tank (500 KL) and other Mechanical Maintenance Works at PHBPL Barauni

Preparatory Works: a) Locking of floating roof of the tank on support legs (b) Opening of shell manholes. (c) Opening of roof manholes (d) Pumping of residual oil into sump tank/OWS pit using pump, flexible hoses and necessary fittings supplied by party (e) Cleaning of tank and sludge disposal through a combination of mechanical/manual mixing process including entry into the tank, removal and storage of left over oil/oily sludge which can't be pumped out further in containers supplied by owner and disposal of the same in sludge lagoon/pits including transportation as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge by taking all safety precautions and degasification of the tank to make it 100% gas freefree. Work of degasification shall be carried out only by air driven flame proof eductor. Double earthing of all the equipments like motors, eductor fan etc. shall be done.

Blinding of 12" surge line (inlet) and 10" tank outlet as per directionsof EIC/ Site Engineer and tender specifications along with all required manpower, tools, tackles, consumables, non-consumables, supervision etc.to complete the work in all respects.

De-blinding of 12" surge line (inlet) and 10" tank outlet as per directions of EIC/ Site Engineer and tender specifications along ithall required manpower, tools, tackles, consumables, non-consumables ,supervision etc. to complete the work in all respects

Replacement of Roof Drain Hose pipe: a) Supply and installation of new roof drain flexible hose 3" dia & crude oil/ HSD resistant rubberised hose pipe with SS 304, Class 150 end flanges of 11 Meter length approximately inplace of dismantled roof drain hose as per drawings, specifications & instructions of Site Engineer/ Engineer InCharge

Repair by weld-on-patch on tank roof, bottom, shell, wind girders andreinforcement plate in front of inlet- outlet nozzle: The scope ofrepair shall include but not limited to taking delivery of plates mm /6mm/8mm/14mm from Owners stock yard, transporting to site, cutting/fabricating to required size, fitment, welding and NDE including supplyof tools, tackles, consumables and other requisite resources. Repairscope includes weld on patches on bottom , roof and leg support pad onbottom. DE covered in separate SOR item Patch repair on tank roof (upper lower deck) and wind girder with 5/6mm plates

Boxing Up of Tank: Reinstallation of earlier dismantled roof manhole & shell manholes including supply of labour, gasket/studs, consumable, tools & tackles to complete the job as per specifications & instructions of Site Engineer / Engineer-in-Charge.

CALIBRATION OF TANKS (SCAFFOLDING MATERIAL IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE) Calibration of the tank as per IS-2007 and IS 2008, preparing the calibration sheets on standard forms showing strapping details, calculation details and other relevant details including bottom calibration after taking measurement of dead wood etc. and certified by CPWD or Weights and Measures Department or any other equivalent government authority with all labour, instruments, erection of scaffolding etc. and delivery of calibration charts to the Engineer-in-Charge. Capacity up to 500 M3

Above ground process piping: Taking delivery & transporting of pipes from designated stock pile location /Designated godown both from outside & inside station premises. Taking delivery of pipe fittings, steel flanges, spiral wound metallic gaskets & fasteners from designated location within station premises, transporting the same to site, fabrication and erection of above ground piping including cutting, edge preparation, bending, threading, lining up, welding, dye penetration test of joints and installing pipes and pipe fittings, flanges, elbows, equal and reducing outlet tees,concentric/eccentric reducers, y-type strainers, drain funnels, vent pipes and tapping for instruments such as pressure gauges, thermal relief valves, thermowells etc., installing above ground at all elevations connecting with equipment nozzles, valves, vessels, in line instruments etc., welded and threaded pipe line of different pressure ratings, flushing pipes by water after cleaning by compressed air, hydrostatic testing of each section to the specified pressure, draining the water, tie-in, final cleaning-up and dispoal of wastes and surpluses including providing all inputs such as labour, material, equipments and consumables necessary to perform the work (other than those specifically under taken by the owner in this contract) including making support to piping at required interval (either Mech/ civil structure support) as per site condition and completing the work in all respects in accordance with the drawings, specifications and instructions of Site Engineer / EIC.
