M&L repairs to potholes any depth not exceeding 1 Sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc incl applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 kg/ 10 Sqm

M & L for 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed carpet with 0.54 Cum. of stone chippings mixed with 29.2 kg of binder (using paving bitumen), laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with exceeding 8 ton but not exceeding 12 ton power roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete in all respect as specified and directed.

M&L liquid seal coat applying evenly binder @ 9.8 Kg per 10sqm blinding with 6.3 mm size stone chipping @ 0.009 cum per 10sqm and rolled to a uniform smooth suface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of delineators post of size 60 cm long, made out of 50 mm MS pipe of 16 gauge, painted with stove enammelled black paint and 03 nos of retro reflective high intensity grade sheeting in white/red/yellow colours each size 100x75 mm bounded on it and delineators post covered with 30 cm long MS wire case fixed in ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 bed size 150x150x300 mm complete all as specified and directed. M & L for applying 2.5mm thick retro reflective thermoplastic road marking compond confirming to MOST, AASHTO M249 and BS 3262 with 30-40% pre mixed Type-1 glass beads confirming to BS 6088, on existing road surface after preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed . NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
