Cleaning/opening of all blockage of manholes/gully trap of any type and any depth removing the sludge/solid content from the manhole/gully trap by manual/mechanical method and also cleaning the sewage line of any dia and at any depth either by water pressure or by any other flushing or roding and other suitable means at the discretion of the contractor at his own arrangements so as to remove the blockage and making the sewer lines and manhole/gully trap/water closet, soil waste/vent pipe, floor trap uot final drop/outlet into septic tank/central sewage system terminating into sewage wells fully functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge also to remove the sludge/solid contents out of defence land including covering with a layer of earth and repositioning of the RCC/CI cover slab all as direcged by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- 1. The complaint shall be cleared/rectified to the complete satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within the same day. 2. Two sweeper with T&P / mechanical equipments shall be provided by the contractor on each working day for 08 hours per day per sweeper to clear any type of blockage for sewage line : manholes, gully trap, Nahani trap, bottle trap, WC etc on day to day complaint basis by user. 3. The contractor representative alongwith two sweepers will report at 0900 hrs to the sub division for complaints and submit completion report at 1700 hrs everyday. 4. All the safety measures shall be taken by the Contractor as per safety code. 5. Documentation - Attendance register & wages register, Daily work register as per the format provided by the Deptt. shall be prepared & maintained at his own cost. 6. It is responsibility of AGE/JE to ensure that attendance register is maintained at site duly signed kept on record. In case of leave/absent of deployed person contractor shall provide replacement otherwise recovery @ double the quoted rate for per day shall be made from his due.
7. In no case wages of deployed persons shall be less than the Minimum wages fixed by Govt Competent Authority. It is mandatory requirement for Contractor that payment of deployed person shall be made through Cheque/RTGS/Acceptable Electronic Mode only. Proof of payment shall be submitted by Contractor to Engineer in Charge monthaly basis or during claiming on account of Advance (RAR)/FB. 8. The Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions (EPF & MP) Act, 1952. shall be strictly adhered to by the Contractor. Social Security to workers i.e. EPF, ESIC, Personal Insurance(if applicable) on part of Employer shall be paid by Contractor and accordingly, Contractor/Bidder shall include all these factors in his quoted rate. 9. Deployed person shall report daily to JE/Engineer in charge or nominated officers by Accepting Officer for their attendence & obtain instructions. An attendence register shall be maintained by Contractor on site shall be certified by MES rep every day.
Cleaning/opening of all blockage of underground sewage lines (including manholes by taking off manhole covers and repositioning of RCC/CI cover slab after cleaning of any description underground any depth by removing any type of blockage including de-silting and de-chocking manually by providing roding and flushing after cleaning including clearing of manholes with all T&P/mechanical equipments required shall be provided by the Contractor in each working day and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, the size/bore of sewage lines upto 150mm bore of pipe. Note :- All safety measures shall be taken by the Contractor as per safety code.
ditto- all as per item No 2 above but exceeding 150mm bore but not exceeding 300mm bore of pipes.
Cleaning of septic tank/soakage pit of any size, type and any depth and removing the sludge/solid content from the septic tank/soakage pit by manual/ mechanical method or any other suitable means at the discretion of the contractor at his own arrangements including flushing with fresh water and make the septic tank/soakage pit fully functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and also to remove the sludge/solid contents out of defence land including covering with a layer of earth and repositioning of the RCC/CI cover slab all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Net measurements for sludge only be paid. Rate shall be included of dewatering.
Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) below or above ground level in any position and removing rubbish to a distance nexc 100mtr at low lying area complete all as speciifed.
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and above or below ground level and removing rubbish to a distance nexc 100mtr at low lying area complete all as specified.
Dismantling of brickwork masonry built in cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars etc. but not excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for brick work with old size sub class “B” bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m. mean radius built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified

M&L Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.
M&L for loose filling with broken brick aggregates of gauge 80 to 150mm in soakage pit, soakage wells complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Dismantling of loose filling of broken brick aggregate & getting out from soak well shall be included in the quoted rate of this item.
Demolition and breaking up SGSW/PVC pipe/AC or reinforcement concrete pipe any description set in cement mortar and taking out from trenches complete all as specified.
