SPL REPAIR / RESURFACING OF ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT SUB AREA AND OTHER LOCATIONS UNDER GE (NORTH) UDHAMPUR

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud of water sunken surface in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by appling tack coat on bituminous surface with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 grade conforming to IS:8887 @ 2.5 Kg per Ten Square Metre, putting in Pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a tack coat on existing black top surfaces with cationic bitumen emulsion RS-1 grade conforming to IS:8887 @ 2.5 Kg per Ten Square Metre and including Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% paving bitumen using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) binder content by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Premix bituminous macadam with 4% paving using bitumen VG-30 paving grade ( 50 -70 penetration) bitumen binder, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm), complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No. 2 & 3 : (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account. (b) To achieve marshal stability of 1050 KN and all as per SSR Part-I Clause No. 20.B.4. (c) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 34.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of any type of road surfaces by scratching old spots, paints, trading oils greasy spots etc. marking paints as making strip straight line, zebra crossing and stop lines not less than 2 mm thick with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved brand white/yellow colour of width upto 150mm incuding dashes, arrow and letters, conforming to Ministry of surface Transaport (MORTH) specification for the road and bridge work : 3rd revision, over primer as per manufacturers instructions including glass beads (intermix) type I (most/BS6008A) and provision contained in IRC-35-1997 by using automatic mechanical road making machine complete all as specified and directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. Note : Contractor shall have to furnish the detail that quantity minimum used per square meter is 5.00 Kg/Sqm. Make: ASIAN PAINTS/ SHALIMAR/ NEROLAC PAINTS/MARUTI REFLO MARK AND EQUIVALENT.

Cat eye of size 110 mm x 120mmx24mm made of Aluminium, two reflectors fitted in the body, weight of cat eye 435 gm approx, designed for dynamic loads, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Dark Eye / Greenlite/Yash/Gunnebo/makes specified in PS.

Delineators made of ABS plastic fitted with two nos. 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA on both sides of the post and mounted on mild steel pipe of 50 mm duly powder coated height 1000mm, anti rust etc including fixed in PCC block (size 30x30x30 cm) of PCC 1:2:4 Type B-I, including taking down old delineators, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Dark Eye or equivalent in performance of make specified in PS. Note : Cost of PCC and earth work is deemed to be included in unit cost.

Speed breaker of size 730 x 245mm & height 70mm (yellow / black colour) made of ABS material with two highly reflective reflectors molded in PMMA material are welded with ABS plates through Ultrasonic welding process and the speed breaker shall be installed by the process as per standard manufacturer's instructions including taking out old speed breakers, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Dark Eye or equivalent as specified in Particular Specification.

Convex mirror of 800mm dia, made of polycorbonate material provided with 50mm mild steel medium weight pipe post, duly powder coated fixed on ground with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 of block size 60x60x60 cm in repair including earth work & removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Greenlite/Darkeye/Safari/ Suraksha /Kohinoor or equivalent of makes mentioned in PS.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard/dense soil complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Stainless steel pipe of schedule 5 S of bore not less 60mm & wall thickness 1.6mm for sign boards complete all as directed.

Informatory sign board in required size and each sign board made of two 4mm thick aluminium composite panel ( ACP ) bothside face to fully covered with 3M scotchlite brand Intensity Prismatic grade retro - reflective sheeting as per ASTM D 4956 Type IV in required colour . The reflective sheet be cut by computerised plotter or digital printed on retroitatioti sheet with high quality eco solvent digital Roland and fabricated out of high intencity prismatic grade sheeting with text matter ( as required ) and border of same sheeting sign board shall be supplied along with supported circular hollow stainless steel section frame of size 25mmx 25mmx 1.29mm thick along with proper clamping with same section of stair nut bolts / welding . complete all as specified

Brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick /concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 and finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparing new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of cement primer complete all as specified .

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and in paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete with joints to match, complete all as specified and as directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in sub base for laying floor finishes including finishing the surfaces even and rough , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Machine pressed rubber moulded / vibro mechenically floated pre cast coloured interlocking cement paver block ISI marked, any shape and size conforming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 Grade, with topping of cement with imported pigment. Shape shall be approved by Engr-in-Charge. (Make:ULTRA/ MODERN/ RUCHI /ISI Marked).

Description all as above but except tiles/ paver blocks
