20 KVA capacity at Nanjangud NOTES for item No 1 :- (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors and multi display meter shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exlusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings. (ii) Servicing of DG set alongwith connected alternator attached and control panel including 'A' check of the Engine shall be carried out at regular intervels as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenenace period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set all the time.

(iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be inluded in the rate quoted for this item (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) The contractor shall also attend to the breakdown calls and depute necessary technician for repair/maintenence works as and when required with out delay during the maint period. (vi) List of checks to be carriedout under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular specifications.
