REPAIR/ MAINT/ REPLACEMENT OF LT OHT, UG CABLE LT PANEL, APFC PANEL, BUS BAR PANEL AND CONNECTED SERVICES AT ILP OTM AND MAP-II MD ACCN AREA AND OTHER AREAS UNDER GE (A) SURATGARH AT SURATGARH MIL STN

Dismantling existing unserviceable Aluminium conductors, steel reinforced (ACSR conductor) from overhead lines on LT poles, of any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) any type of ACSR conductor as per site requirement of size /make as ordered including stringing for overhead line on LT poles including aluminum binding wire 14 SWG, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply & fixing of aluminium binding wire, aluminium tapes etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring true horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.)

S&F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator of size 100mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator suitable for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for fixing in replacement of Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0 grade including necessary nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape and size as directed and including applying two coats of aluminium paint (under & finishing coats) over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer on exposed steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces, supplied and fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: - (i) Sizes & types of members and shape of the cross arms etc shall be as required at site all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Un-exposed steel surfaces shall be given one coat of red-oxide zinc chromate primer only. Cost of the same is included in unit rate of the item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.)

S&F in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 using stay rod 20 mm dia x 1800mm long, stay bow 14mm dia and stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm including stay wire 8 SWG x 7 strands, loop type insulator with over all dimensions 90x140mm and clearence of hole 25.5mm, stay clamps and painting to exposed surfaces of mild steel work with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earthwork and PCC in foundation shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.

M & L preparing old painted surfaces by scraping and removing old paints, rust, etc. from Steel Tubular Poles (above the Planting Depth and PCC Copings) and Mild Steel Cross Arms, Cable Protection Pipe, Brackets, etc. and applying one Coat of Red Oxide Zinc Chrome Primer, alternate Yellow & Black Strips Painting (5 No. Each Strip 300 mm wide) and remaining portion of Pole also including numbering to poles with synthetic enamel paint on black base of size 15 cm x 10 cm and numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint and Cross Arms, Cable Protection Pipe, Brackets, etc. treated with Two Coats of Aluminium Paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L preparing old painted surfaces by scraping and removing old paints, rust, etc. from Pre-stressed Concrete cement Pole (above the Planting Depth and PCC Copings) and Mild Steel Cross Arms, Cable Protection Pipe, Brackets, etc. and applying Two Coats of Synthetic Enamel Painting in alternate Yellow & Black Strips Painting (5 No. Each Strip 300 mm wide) and remaining portion of Pole treated with Two Coats of Exterior Weather Proof Paint also including numbering to poles with synthetic enamel paint on black base of size 15 cm x 10 cm and numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint and Mild Steel Cross Arms, Cable Protection Pipe, Brackets, etc. treated with Two Coats of Aluminium Paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting over head conductors and insulators any Nos on existing damaged Pre -stressed Concrete Cement LT poles, dismantling MS work such as cross arms /clamps/hooks etc, stay and street light (where exists), excavating and taking out damaged pole making good hole to receive new pole and M&L for Ereting Pre-stressed concrete poles 9 meter long, 102mm x 172mm at top and 102 mm x 279 mm at bottom, class 10, complying with requirements of IS-1678, including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (in alternate black & white/yellow strips of 30 cm height) upto 1.5 meter height from top of PCC coping and also including numbering to poles with synthetic enamel paint on black base of size 15 cm x 10 cm and numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint, including dismantling of old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Earthwork, Cement Concrete, etc. will be measured and paid under approprite Items.

Disconnecting over head conductors and insulators any Nos on existing damaged steel tubular swaged LT poles, dismantling MS work such as cross arms /clamps/hooks etc, stay and street light (where exists), excavating and taking out damaged pole making good hole to receive new pole and M&L for Ereting Steel Tubular Swaged Pole Type 410-SP-31 (9.0 Metre long) including Cast Iron Base Plate, Finial Taper Plug, Cap, Mild Steel Bolts, Nuts, Screws including applying two coats of Black Bituminous Paint Internally and Externally from bottom End of Pole upto PCC Coping and applying with two coats of Aluminium Painting over a coat of red oxide Primer (Externally from Top of Coping)and applying Two Coats of Synthetic Enamel Painting in alternate Yellow & Black Strips Painting (4 No. Each Strip 300 mm wide) and also including numbering to poles with synthetic enamel paint on black base of size 15 cm x 10 cm and numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint, including dismantling of old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Earthwork, Cement Concrete, etc. will be measured and paid under approprite Items.
