M & L preparation of existing surfaces of Taxiway Marking and Turning Pads of Runway surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. and the like exceeding 10 cm width or girth (Retro Reflective Type) of color yellow with white and black borders, cold applied type, applied by skilled painter manually or with mechnical applicator of wet film thickness of 400 microns in single coat and dry film thickness of 200 microns and coverage @ the rate of 0.4 to 0.5 litres per square meter and application of drop on Glass beads Type IV (Reflective Index 1.5) @ 50 Grams per square meter complete all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of existing bituminous / concrete surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters, etc. on Roads / Pavements / Runway / Dispersal / Taxi Tracks and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth with two Coats of Water based Acrylic Runway marking paint of colour White or Golden Yellow or Yellow or Black or Red complete all as specified and as directed. Note: [a] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering following provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. [b] Periodicity of painting, will be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with users. For this purpose, the tenderer shall maintain a register indicating the details of location, date, area, signature of Engineer-in-Charge, user's representative and Contractor. [c] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area along Main Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen.

M & L for Chipping removing carefully concrete work by low impact hammer, breaker without damaging the structure width not more than 15 cm and depth not more than 10 cm & Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing pavement, cleaning out, and disposal of debris out side the premises etc. complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning the Runway Cracks / potholes by using Compressed Air and brush, making the cracks free from dust, grease, all foreign and loose particles etc. applying Geocrete concrete resurfacing mortar on cracked / broken potholes, edges, or at any runway surface and dispersal area with width not more 15 cm and depth not more than 10 cm and applying all as per manuiacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc and applying Cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) at the rate 0.75 Kg per Sqm (undiluted) and ensure proper finishing of runway, PTT, Links etc complete all as per manufacturers' instructions and as specified and directed at site.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area with size from 491 Sq mm to 1963 Sq mm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area exceeding 1963 Sq mm but not exceeding 7850 Sq mm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of pot holes on area exceeding 0.1 Sq m but not exceeding 0.3 Sq m in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB - 70) including applying tack coat (PMB - 70), including cutting as required shape, cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for washing, rubbing down and stopping of old painted surfaces up to 15.00 metres height and applying two coat of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] on Walls in Chequered Pattern with approved shade and size of Chequers including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Asian Paint or Berger Paints or equivalent

M & L for Racking out existing Bituminous Sealant from Expansion Joints to a depth of at least 30mm, cleaning edges up to a depth of at least 15 mm by scrapping / grinding by mechanical means to expose the concrete surfaces, cleaning the joint, removing the sticky, foreign and loose particles, Placing PVC Foam Baker Bar of 25 mm dia, inserting the same to keep a clear depth of 10 mm from top of pavement, applying epoxy based primer compound to the sides of joint from Baker Bar to the top of pavement, applying polyurethane sealant mixed thoroughly by stirring with Palette Knife and applying the same to the joint to a depth of 10 mm up to the top of pavement in Expansion Joints of 20 mm width complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.
