REPAIR/MAINT OF TRANSFORMER AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAMS

Material and labour for taking down of defective step down transformer 11 KV / 0.433, Opening up the top cover by taking out the transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting/taking out the HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type/ description (indoor/outdoor type ) installed on floor/pole for carrying out necessary repair/rewinding to HT/LT side or any other repair as required after shifting the transformer to contractor's work shop including taking out complete core assembly, Magger the winding for identifying the fault/defective winding, seggregating the defective winding portion/taking out, cleaning the laminated core rewinding with appropriate gauge winding wire of existing description for transformer of capacity 400 to 630 KVA including assembling & testing on completion & installation the same at the site all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : (i) Winding of coil and spares required as per repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) The transpotation charges and taking down/taking up of transformer are inclusive in the quoted rates. (iii) The cost for the dehydration of transformer oil if reqd shall be measured & paid separately. (iv) The cost of insulation material such as paper, cotton tape , latheroid sheet , casl sheet etc are inclusive in the quoted rate. (v) The transformer will be opened in presence of Egnr-in-charge / JE in charge All testing of transformer after repair will be fwd by Contractor on his duly signed by manufacuturer / factory which repair transformer before despatch from the factory.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, HT coils made out of super enameled double paper coated (DPC) HT copper winding wire of transformers, capacity 50 to 630 KVA, coils to be repalced as per existing number of turns, gauge, insulation value matching with manufactures design complete all as specified.

Supply and replacement of LT coils made out of super enameled LT copper strip of trasformer capacity 75 to 630 KVA(Note coil to be replaced shallhave same number of turns,gauge,insulation value matching with manufactures design.

Supply and replacement HT 11 KV bush rod suitable for indoor / outdoor type 400 to 630 KVA transformer complete with brass stud, brass nuts, brass cup and packing gasket complete all as spd and directed.

Material and labour for providing cable fault locator and locating fault in HT cable with the help of locator and repair the same using st through joint complete all as specified and as directed. Note Veh mounted cable fault locator and other charges are included in the quoted rate. St through joint shall be measure and paid seperately.

Rubbing/scratching old paint of transformer outer side and inner side of capacity 400 to 630 KVA, through cleaning with kerosene oil and providing two coats of metallic paint outside and inside as applicable including writing MES No on Transformer body with black paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fill up transformer oil topping up having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV at 4 mm gap conforming to IS complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning, dehydration/ reconditioning of transformer oil different location by dehydration plant including testing as per IS Specification and result not less than 40 KV at site, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Shifting of transformer from one place to other place within the cantt area including disconnecting and reconnecting all connections 50 to 630 KVA any time any capacity all as directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement out door type POLYMER , triple pole, 11000 volts mechanically operated Air break switch (GOD + DO), mounted on 15 Nos insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level for current rating up to 200 amps and including all accessories ie pipe etc complete, all as specified and directed. Location :- Inf Bde Area at NAMS.

M&L for HT lightening arrestor for outdoor use, expulsion type, POLYMER complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65kilo amps, minimum working pressure 11000volts grade conforming to IS complete all as specified and directed Location :- Inf Bde Area at NAMS.

Material & labour in replacement for mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts and washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for anti climbing devices , spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round square and flat) including nuts bolts washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross sectional of the poles complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for anti export relay (Anti-reverse power controller|) , 3phase suitable for 66 KV sub station to avoid solar power export to state electricity grid complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for painting of PCC poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in black and white strip 30 cm wide each up to 1.5 mtr height from coping including writing of pole number with white paint inside black circle of 10 cm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out carefully manually by excavation of existing HT cable of size 95 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm with loops and relaying with the same after repair of cutting the damages / burnt parts of cable and reconnecting into original positions complete with cable joints all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:-(i) HT Cable Joint will be measured and paid sepearetly. (ii) Unit rate shall be included in excavation and returning filling.

Material and labour for jointing broken/ lying on ground conductor and restrach the same conductor with straching of upto 5 span complete with maintaing proper sag all as specified and as directed. Note :- Conductor required for jointing broken conductor shall be included in the quoted rate. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor for the same.

Supply & fixing in replacement of stay assembly comprising of 7/2.50mm galvanized MS stay wire of reqd length, fixed to poles with and including of FI clamps made out of FI 40x6mm and nuts bolts washers of suitable size MS stay bow 14mm dia galvanized 40cm long MS galvanised stay rod threaded with nut 16mm dia 21 Cm long with washers MS stay plate galvanized 230x30x6mm and stay wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note necessary Excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid seprrately.

M&L for Mild Steel Body Cooling fan , 350mm sweep or as per site requirement , 230 Volt copper wound , with double ball bearing to be fixed on fins of 8 MVA Transformer including wiring complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement disc type Polymer insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers & one galvanised nut and other fixing material , 11000 volts grade.all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge

Excavates and relaying HT cables loops near the poles / transformers, cutting the damages/burnt parts of cable and reconnecting its into positions complete with thimbles, nut bolts, sleaves all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement HT Jumpers wire not less than 95 Sqmm HT single core from top disc insulator to GOD and disc to disc in any lenth with complete nuts & thimbles all as required at site.

Material & labour for painting to mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, back plate etc fixed on HT PCC Poles any height with providing two coats of aluminium paint over a coat one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Steel members fixed on single HT pole shall be considered as 'One Unit'.

Material & labour for 2 Pole structure complete painting to mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, back plate etc fixed on HT Poles any height with providing two coats of aluminium paint over a coat one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- One 2 pole mild steel struture complete on HT PCC pole steel members fixed thereon shall be considered as 'One Unit'.

Material & labour for 4 Pole structure complete painting to mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, back plate etc fixed on HT Poles any height with providing two coats of aluminium paint over a coat one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note:- One 4 pole mild steel struture complete on HT PCC pole steel members fixed thereon shall be considered as 'One Unit'.

Location:- Armd Bde area at NAMS, TOP-II and MRS. Note: (i) Excavation Earth work and foundation will be measured and paid seperately under relevent items.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT underground cable XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade cross sectional area 185 sqmm 3 core laid in duct / trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of HT underground cable XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade cross sectional area 300 sqmm 3 core laid in duct / trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 m wide and not exceeding 1.50 m in depth for foundation of poles, stay, cable, pipes etc and getting out complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil not exceeding 1.50 m wide and exceeding 1.50 m in depth but not exc 3 mtr in depth for foundation of poles, stay, cable, pipes etc and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning, filling, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for drilling hole under the road with the help of drilling machine without damaging the road horizontally for road crossing GI tubing of any size for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable , in duct and in sockage pit under transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Punned down thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement)

Supply and laying in replacement for un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover factory made, class HV, type I, flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re -use un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover , laid flat in trenches over the cable with length of cover perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent/abutting each other, item retreived from srl item no 30 above complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in repalcement for GI steel tubing, 80mm bore, light grade with all fittings, laid in trenches / under roads / along pole / wall for protection of Cable / GI wire / GI strip etc complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl Item No 61.00 here-in-before but bore of pipe 100mm complete all as per specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded broken stone agg. as in mass concrete in foundation of poles including taking out old PCC complete all as soecified.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type D-2 using 20mm graded broken stone aggregate as in mass concrete in foundation of stays complete all as soecified.

Material & labour in replacement for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20 mm graded aggregate in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc) chajjas, water trouhghs, shelves and similar articles including form work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, air breather with silica gel suitable for 75 KVA to 160 KVA Transformers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, air breather with silica gel suitable for 200 KVA to 500 KVA Transformers complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600x600 x6.0mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to GI strip of size 32X6mm as earthing lead by means of welding of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009, connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. The quoted unit rate shall include the following elements as given below :- (a) Earth electrode as mentioned above (b) Main earthing lead of 32X6 mm GI strip from earth electrode to test point up to 7.5 mtrs. (c) Connecting earthing lead and electrode all as specified and testing complete. (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal and salt (e) GI protection pipe of 40 mm dia light grade of length not less than 5.00 mtrs. (f) Necessary excavation, earth work and PCC pit , angle iron 40x40x6mm frame including RCC cover.

All as per Srl Item No 68.00 but earth lead galvanised iron wire of 4mm dia connected by means of welding, 15mm bore light grade GI protection pipe complete all as per specified and directed.

Supplying & fixing in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI strip size 32x6 mm, fixed to wall, on batten or recess/chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthling etc including suitable nuts and bolts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of old unsv for danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet , vitreous enamelled white,. With letter in English, Hindi and Punjabi, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20 cm complte all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement for copper strip of size 20x3 mm from test point to transformer or other places complete all as specified and directed.
