M&L in repairs for fixing MS leakage clamps 150 mm in width made out of 6 mm thick MS Sheet in shape and size duly drilled 2 holes in each side with necessary rubber insertion sheet of required size and MS bolt,nuts & washers incl. excavation/earth work in any type of strata and dewatering of line water for prevention of water leakage from pipeline complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge suitable for following sizes of CI/DI pipelines:-

Supplying, fixing and testing of CI/DI pipe fitting for spigot socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing/ decreasing or double socket etc). Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps and plugs, for pipe upto 350mm bore all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Rate of cutting existing pipe for insertion of the fitting is included in the quoted rate.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation concrete, mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of valve chamber and removing material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of valve chamber of size 120 x 120 x 120 cm (internal dimensions) with the following specifications :-

(i) 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete. (ii) PCC solid block masonry 200mm thick using grade C-5 block in CM 1:6 (iii) Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 finished even and fair. (iv) PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping. (v) 3mm thick MS sheet cover alongwith MS angle iron frame 40 x 40x6 mm duly embedded in coping concrete with necessary locking arrangement. (vi) Painting MS sheet cover and frame with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. (NOTE : Excavation and earthwork included under respective items of Sch 'A')

M&L for cleaning of pump house/sub station,surrounding area by surface excavation upto 10 cm depth incl removing shrubs,grass,miniplants and other unwanted materials and levelling in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for cutting of branches of tree of various length to keep a clear pump houses and depositioning the cut branches upto 50 mtr from pump house complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L only for attending water supply complaints and rectifying the faults viz no water, water leakage, air lock, low pressure, over flow etc all necessary patty items like rubber gasket,grease, screws, GI tees, bends, elbow etc and tool required including excavation in any type of strata as per site requirement and making arrangement of electric/diesel pump/JCB/manual additional labour by caulking with pig lead/ lead wool/ tyton joint complete all as directed for following sizes:- Note:- Group of three complaints will be consider as one job. Complaint slip will printed and supplied by Contractor in prescribed format complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) 20 mm to 100 mm bore.

(b) 150 mm to 350 mm bore.

M&L dewatering, cleaning of OH reseviors (by professional agency like Narmada water tank cleaners or equivalent) with high pressure jet to remove all mosses, algae and dirt and removal of dirty water along with sludge machines/industrial vacum cleaners and disposal of the same to a safe distance including scrubing of internal surface by steel wire brush, removing the dirt completely using industrial vaccum cleaners and sterilizing the complete internal surface of the tank by using ISI mark Gd I bleaching powder including repair to vent pipes and providing wire mesh and clamps (to stop ingress of pigeons) complete and marking the date of cleaning by using synthetic enamel paint in white colour over black background and letters of height 40 mm height and 30 mm width complete all as directed including one coat of white wash on the internal surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

ITEM No. 35.00 CONTD... Note: If the work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M), the work will be redone upto required level without any extra cost. Neccessary tools and safety gears to be arranged by contractor without any extra cost. Labours safety shall be contractors responsiblity.

M&L applying one coat of anticorrosive bituminiuos paint on existing paint over ladder of overhead tanks of any capacity upto 20 mtrs staging including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairing of ladders/part of ladder in OH Tanks with the help of Arc/Gas welding,cutting, beding etc and two coats of anti corrosivce bitumious paint over a coat of anti corrosive primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old u/s PVC 2 core cable of any size complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F ultrasonic level transmitter IP 67, 8 meter range 2 wire with complete set up of submersible type water level sensor, where sensor gives output of 4 to 20 mA and this is being connected to transmitter to show water level. Transmitter is designed to show water level in the tank which will be in meters and also it will show available water quantity in gallons. Transmitter will have two relays and out of this relay 1 is set for upper level and relay 2 is set for lower level of water in tank. Output of relays canbe connected to hooter as alarm . Display wiil be of LCD and size will be 20x4, where in water level as well as water quantity will be displayed, material PVDF, aluminium housing PU painted, top mounting including bracket complete with panel comprising of SMPS NHP 24 DC, 3 Amps and MCB SPN and anything else required for making level sensor operational and provision for fixing 4 digit 7 segment LED display complete

ITEM No. 40.00 CONTD... testing/calibration for indiacting water level inside OHT(any capacity)/UG sump (any capacity) etc including taking down unserviceable ultra sonic sensor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. SBEM (ultramate 136-ULT)/ Bamo electronics or equivalent. Note: - Labours safety shall be contractors responsiblity including protective gears for OHR.

S& F 2 core 1.0 Sqmm copper conductor complete fixing /saddling/ laying in ground and connecting to level transmitter(OHT/UG sump) at any height complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation/cleaning of old painted steel surfaces of any description such as suction line, delivery line, priming line or not less than 80 mm dia pipe any other pipe line/ channel plates complete with scrapping out old painted surface and after that marking of flow direction along with painting complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repair for PCC block masonary and PCC 1:4:8 in foundations, filling and mass concrete for foundation of DI/CI water pipelines complete by using necessary clamping of pipe in foundation to avoid vibration at the time of pumping operation complete with demolition of existing foundation and necessary earthwork complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Minimum size for foundation L x W = 45 cm x 45 cm but height will vary from site to site. Contractor should quote the rate according to the condition mentioned and reviewing site.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracing supports, clamps fabricated out of structural steel such as ISMC, angle iron, flat iron sections including hot galvanised nuts & bolts, washers for single and two pole structure welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size of Fe-410-W (gde-E-250) quality-B as specified and including of one under coat and finishing coat with aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for testing of water sample at authorised government laboratory for biological & chemical examination of water on quarterly basis including glass bottle for collection of sample complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Sample of water to be collected from wherever directed by Engr-In-Charge will be responsibility of contractor.(Water sample includes area such as Dabla Main P/H, KLP PH and ASC P/H)) (ii) Collection of sample from all the places at a time will be considered as one job each time
