Repairs to Roads, Pot Holes, Berms, Kerb Stone, Road Marking, Road Furniture at ICGS, Mayabunder and Repair to Certain Roads, Hardstanding and Paths at 2U Det Diglipur

M & L for Repairs to Pot Holes of any depth, not exceeding 1 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth making good by filling Screened road metal well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes not exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in Premixed Bitumen Macadam, well rammed and sealed with Liquid Seal Coat with binder 9.8 KG per 10 Sq.m blinded with 0.09 Cu.m of stone chippings of 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient and including preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. M & L for preparation of existing bituminous / concrete surfaces of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. and Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters, etc. on Road, Pavements and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth with Two Coats of Water based Road Marking Paint of colour White or Golden Yellow complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Road Side Delineator [Reflector] as per approved model and conforming to IRC - 67, made of Powder Coated MS Pipe, 50mm bore, 1000mm height, Heavy Grade, fitted with 2 Nos. of 100mm dia highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA Material with ABS Round Body, anti rust & anti theft steel net, fixed with Bolts, Nuts and Epoxy Glue, which emit excellent reflection during night time, with 3 reflective strips of colour Amber, Red or White, as approved by GE and duly embedded in PCC 1:2:4, Type B1 of 300 X 300 X 300mm size fixing MS Post and earthwork etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Road Stud, Two way reflective of size 100mm X 110mm X 20 mm [Approximately], ABS body with retro reflective panel of Amber, Red or White colour complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] made of Aluminium Die cast matt finish of size 125 X 125 X 25mm [Approximately], working on High Efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt, One Ni-Mh or NI-cd Rechargeable Battery [1.2V / 1600 MA] with Six Super Bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd [Millicandela], with a minimum Operating time of 3-4 consecutive days with full charge, viewing distance / visibility not less than 800m with 2 Hz Flash Rate, Self operated from Dusk to Dawn, anti twist ribs on the bottom anchor / shank with high intensity reflective grade polymer sticker and conforming to IS - 12063, of Colour yellow or red or blue or green or white as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75mm thick filling using approved earth obtained from excavation, spread levelled and rammed / rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering to and consolidated to required level, gradient and camber required as in Road side Berms complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Unreinforced Cement Concrete in ground floors and Pavings not exceeding 15cm thick [below or above ground level] and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick, PCC 1:4;8, Type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in Sub base for flooring complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 100 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Floors / Hard standing / Path etc., surface finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
