Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock chiselling, wedging out of rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades ,width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302,1603.1 and 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means/ labour if required. as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Any loss to the public and private property during the execution and disposal of unservicable material shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall be compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST, or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305.1 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and upto any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre). Compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. The rate including octroi, royality,Malkana,toll tax, GST tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation in foundation and trenches in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock, chiseling / wedging out of rock (Where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required lines, grade, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes as shown in the drawing and if water is met within the excavation due to springs, seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by the suitable diversion pumping or bailing out and excavation shall be kept dry wherever so required by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and disposal of all surplus excavated soil in acquired width or at an approved dumping side including its stacking leveling dressing including all leads and lifts by head-load, mechanical transportation or by any other mode of transportation with all cost of labours, machineries and other incidentals to complete the work as per HPPWD specification. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceable material shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.
