Provision of Power Supply Arrangements for Three Escalators at Coimbatore North Jn (CBF-NSG6) and three Escalators at Podanur Jn (PTJ-NSG4) - Electrical Arrangements.

1- Cable arrangement

Excavation of Cable trench in all kinds of soil including refilling as per description enclosed in Drg. No. CEE /CN/MS/01-2018.

Excavation of Cable trench across the concrete flooring / road / track as per Drg. No.CEE/CN/MS/01-2018.

Breaking of cement concrete flooring as instructed by Engineer-in-charge at site.

Supply and provision of mass concrete for platforms or elsewhere with 1:3:6 ratio using 20 mm blue metal complete in a manner as directed by the Section Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and fixing of Cable encasing pipe of 'B' class GI pipes 50mm Dia conforming 5 to IS 1239,part 1 (2004) including one number of clamp made out of MS flat of 40mm x 6mm size, one per meter length of pipe and cable sealing compound on open end where ever required as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and fixing of Cable encasing pipe of 'B' class GI pipes 100mm Dia conforming 6 to IS 1239,part 1 (2004) including one number of clamp made out of MS flat of 80mm x 6mm size, one per meter length of pipe and cable sealing compound on open end where ever required as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Labour Charges for Laying of 50 mm Dia PE 63, PN 6 type HDPE pipe in the 7 excavated trench, on walls or on platform shelter etc., including suitable fixing arrangement complete in a manner as directed by Section Engineer-in-charge at site. (Note: Required HDPE Pipes will be supplied by Railways.)

Labour Charges for Laying of 110 mm Dia PE 100, PN 6 type HDPE pipe in the 8 excavated trench, on walls or on platform shelter etc., including suitable fixing arrangement complete in a manner as directed by Section Engineer-in-charge at site. (Note: Required HDPE Pipes will be supplied by Railways.)

Supply and laying of 6 SWG GI wire along with the LTUG Cable, for earth continuity confirming to IS 12776 complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and fixing of cable route indicator made of cast iron plate type as per specification in drawing No. CEE/CN/MS/11-2004 complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Labour charges for Laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG power cables of size 11 upto and including 50 sq.mm in the excavated trench/on Building walls/Sheds/Shelters etc., as per IS No:1255 complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. Note: LTUG Cables only will be supplied by Railways.

Labour charges for Laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG power cables size of 12 above 50 sq.mm and upto 185 sq.mm in the excavated trench/on Building walls/Sheds/Shelters etc., as per IS No:1255 complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. Note: Required LTUG Cable will be supplied by Railways.

Supply and termination and connection of LTUG cable of sizes upto 50 sqmm with 13 aluminium crimping sockets and single compression type cable gland.Note: One termination comprises of one number of single flange type brass cable gland and with four numbers of aluminium crimping sockets for all cores of the cable.

Supply and provision of end sealing compound for cable leading pipe for leading of cable of upto 50 sqmm.

Supply and termination and connection of LTUG cable of sizes above 50 sqmm upto 15 and including 185 sqmm size with aluminium crimping sockets and single compression type cable gland. Note: One termination comprises of one number of single flange type brass cable gland and with four numbers of aluminium crimping sockets for all cores of the cable.

Supply and provision of sealing compound for cable leading pipe for leading of cable of above 50 sqmm but up to and including 185 sqmm.

Fabrication, Supply and fixing of clamps made out MS flats of different sizes for fabrication of clamps for various requirements. This shall be made use for fixing of items indicated in 17 the note below. The clamp shall be made out of MS flat of suitable size, painted with two coats in each of Zinc chromate ad grey enamel paint or suitable colour as instructed by the Engineer in charge and using GI Bolts with nuts of suitable size for fixing complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

2-Power Supply arrangement

Supply and fixing of PVC conduits of 20mm Dia confirming to IS:9537/P3/1983 or 18 latest(ISI Marked) with wall thickness not less than 2.0 mm, all accessories like bend, junction box etc., on existing wall/stanchion/portal/column and clamped at regular intervals as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and concealing of rigid PVC conduits of 20 mm Dia confirming to IS 19 9537/P3/1983 or latest (ISI marked) with wall thickness not less than 2.0mm along with the all accessories like bend, junction box etc and including cutting the wall/ceiling/chipping with re plastering and finishing the surface including painting to restore it to its original condition complete as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and fixing of PVC conduits of 25mm Dia confirming to IS:9537/P3/1983 or latest(ISI Marked) with wall thickness not less than 2.0 mm, all accessories like bend, junction box etc., on existing wall/stanchion/portal/column and clamped at regular intervals as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and concealing of rigid PVC conduits of 25 mm Dia confirming to IS 21 9537/P3/1983 or latest (ISI marked) with wall thickness not less than 2.0mm along with the all accessories like bend, junction box etc and including cutting the wall/ceiling/chipping with re plastering and finishing the surface including painting to restore it to its original condition complete as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and wiring by 5 nos of 10.0 sq.mm (3 phase) PVC insulated FRLS type flexible 22 copper cable conforming to IS.No:694,1100 V grade through PVC conduit pipe already fixed. The Color coding shall be followed as directed by Engineer in charge at site(5 nos of 10.0 sq.mm copper cable shall be taken as 1Mtr for measurement purpose).

Supply and wiring including termination by 3 nos. of 6sqmm PVC insulated fire 23 retardant low smoke (FRLS)flexible copper cable conforming to IS. No: 694,1100 V grade through the existing PVC pipe already laid, Color coding shall be followed as directed by Engineer in charge at site(3nos. of 6 sqmm copper cable wire shall be taken as 1 m for measurement purpose)

Supply and wiring including termination by 3 nos. of 4sqmm PVC insulated fire 24 retardant low smoke (FRLS)flexible copper cable conforming to IS. No: 694,1100 V grade through the existing PVC pipe already laid, Color coding shall be followed as directed by Engineer in charge at site (3nos. of 4 sqmm copper cable wire shall be taken as 1 m for measurement purpose)

Supply and wiring including termination by 3 nos of 2.5sqmm PVC insulated fire 25 retardant low smoke (FRLS) flexible copper cable conforming toIS.No:694,1100 V grade through the existing PVC pipe already laid.Color coding shall be followed as directed by Engineer in charge at site (3 nos of 2.5 sqmm copper cable wire shall be taken as 1m for measurement purpose)

Supply and wiring (single phase) including termination by 3 nos. of 1.5 sqmm PVC 26 insulated FRLS type flexible copper cable conforming to IS. No: 694, 1100 V grade through PVC conduit already fixed by concealed/open manner. Color coding shall be followed as directed by Engineer in charge at site(3 nos. of 1.5 sqmm copper cable wire shall be taken as 1 Mtr for measurement purpose).

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 12 way modular switch box with concealed metallic flush box as base, mounting plate (modular white plate) confirming to latest IS specification complete in an approved manner. The boxes are to be fixed firmly after doing the 27 following works at the location where the boxes are to be fixed: (1) Required opening for fixing the modular metallic switch box to be made by cutting the wall without causing major damage to wall (2)Unwanted projections are to be chipped and the wall surface is to be made even, (3) The wall surface is to be plastered to the present level of the wall surrounding the board. (4) The gap between box and wall surface to be filled with suitable filling material.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 08 way modular switch box with concealed metallic flush box as base, mounting plate (modular white plate) confirming to latest IS specification complete in an approved manner. The boxes are to be fixed firmly after doing the 28 following works at the location where the boxes are to be fixed: (1) Required opening for fixing the modular metallic switch box to be made by cutting the wall without causing major damage to wall (2) Unwanted projections are to be chipped and the wall surface is to be made even, (3) The wall surface is to be plastered to the present level of the wall surrounding the board. (4) The gap between box and wall surface to be filled with suitable filling material.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 06 way modular switch box with concealed metallic flush box as base, mounting plate (modular white plate) confirming to latest IS specification complete in an approved manner. The boxes are to be fixed firmly after doing the 29 following works at the location where the boxes are to be fixed:(1) Required opening for fixing the modular metallic switch box to be made by cutting the wall without causing major damage to wall (2) Unwanted projections are to be chipped and the wall surface is to be made even, (3) The wall surface is to be plastered to the present level of the wall surrounding the board. (4) The gap between box and wall surface to be filled with suitable filling material.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 04 way modular switch box with concealed metallic flush box as base, mounting plate (modular white plate) confirming to latest IS specification complete in an approved manner. The boxes are to be fixed firmly after doing the following works at the location where the boxes are to be fixed:(1) Required opening for fixing the modular metallic switch box to be made by cutting the wall without causing major damage to wall (2)Unwanted projections are to be chipped and the wall surface is to be made even, (3) The wall surface is to be plastered to the present level of the wall surrounding the board. (4) The gap between box and wall surface to be filled with suitable filling material.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 02 way modular switch box with concealed metallic flush box as base, mounting plate (modular white plate) confirming to latest IS specification complete in an approved manner. The boxes are to be fixed firmly after doing the 31 following works at the location where the boxes are to be fixed:(1) Required opening for fixing the modular metallic switch box to be made by cutting the wall without causing major damage to wall (2)Unwanted projections are to be chipped and the wall surface is to be made even, (3) The wall surface is to be plastered to the present level of the wall surrounding the board. (4) The gap between box and wall surface to be filled with suitable filling material.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 1 way 6A modular switch 32 confirming to latest IS specification complete on the appropriate modular switch boxes already erected including internal wiring connection in the modular switch box complete in an approved manner as per the section in charge's instruction.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of modular type socket 33 6Asocket,2/3Pin, flush confirming to latest IS specification complete on the appropriate modular boxes already erected including internal wiring connection and earth connection to earth terminal in switch board by 1.5sqmm PVC insulated single core copper conductor complete in an approved manner as per the section in charge's instruction.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of 1 way 16A modular switch 34 confirming to latest IS specification complete on the appropriate modular switch boxes already erected including internal wiring connection in the modular switch box complete in an approved manner as per the section in charge's instruction.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of modular type socket 35 16Asocket,5/3Pin, flush confirming to latest IS specification complete on the appropriate modular boxes already erected including internal wiring connection by 4.0sqmm PVC insulated single core copper conductor and earth connection to earth terminal in switch board in an approved manner as per the section in charge's instruction.

Supply at site, fixing, testing and commissioning of Dummy plate suitable for modular box mentioned in the schedule No;27-31 wherever required with necessary fixing arrangements in approved manner as directed by the Engineer in-charge at site.

Supply and fixing of 3 plate ceiling rose with PVC junction Box on provision of PVC dummy sheet (heavy) complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply, erection, testing, commissioning of Surface mounting type 24 W 1'x1' LED square fittings with suitable accessories for mounting,the square type fitting should have LED Efficacy of minimum 100 (Lumens/watt),4kV surge protection with 50000 burning hours with IP40 38 protection. The fixture should be rigid, the mounting should be surface type on ceiling and operating voltage range of 100-300 VAC supply, frequency of 50 Hz +/-5%. Fitting shall be fixed on ceiling including wiring by 3 Cx 1.0 sqmm PVC insulated & sheathed round flexible copper cable in an approved manner as directed by the Engineer in charge at site. The Warranty for the LED Light fitting will be 5 years and the payment condition will be followed as per Special condition of contract para 3.7.

Supply, Fixing, testing and commissioning of LED Batten light with complete fixtures having 20W with available LED Efficacy of minimum 125 (Lumen/ Watt), Color Temperature (in K) of 6500 (Cool white), Aluminum extruded housing, with Inbuilt Driver/Control gear, Ingress Protection of IP-20, Operating Voltage range of 100 to 300 V, Frequency 50 Hz with minimum 50000 burning hours and SPD> 4kV and above. The fitting shall be fixed with Round block with patterns on side wall/ceiling with wiring by 3C x 1.0 sqmm PVC insulated & sheathed round flexible copper cable in an approved manner as directed by Engineer in charge at site. The Warranty for the LED Light fittingwill be 5 years and the payment condition will be followed as per Special condition of contract para 3.7.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of 12W LED Bulk Head fitting with lamp. The fitting made up of Aluminium die cast body with IP54 protection similar to LUKER cat no 40 LBKOVSL12 or its equivalent including wiring by 3Cx1.0 Sqmm PVC insulated & sheathed round flexible cpper cable in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.The warranty for the LED Light fitting will be 5 years and the payment condition will be followed as per Special condition of contract para 3.7.

Fixing, testing and commissioning of BLDC fan in the existing fan hook including wiring with 3 C X 1.0 sq.mm PVC insulated & sheathed copper flexible cable in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. Note: BLDC fan only will be supplied by Railways.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of 200 mm sweep Exhaust Fan of maximum rated power consumption not exceeding 40 Watts, suitable for operation on 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase AC supply, complete with all accessories. The work shall include fixing of the exhaust 42 fan in the already provided ventilator / wall opening, fixing of frame/grill as required, and making good the edges with minor plastering only if required, without any fresh wall cutting. The item also includes wiring with 3-core x 1.0 sq.mm PVC insulated and PVC sheathed copper flexible copper cable, including terminations and connections, complete in all respects, tested and commissioned, fixed in an approved manner and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 5.0 m long GI octagonal lamp post with 1.0 m long single arm, complete in all respects, including supply of octagonal pole, bracket/top cover, arm, base plate, foundation bolts, fasteners, SMC terminal connector, rewirable fuse, terminal box and all erection charges. The pole shall be continuously tapered, fabricated in single section with single longitudinal seam welding only and without circumferential joints, manufactured from high tensile steel Grade S355JO or equivalent conforming to EN 10025 with minimum thickness of 3 mm, having minimum bottom diameter of 130 mm and top diameter of 70 mm, and designed for wind load as per IS 875 (Part-3). The pole shall be provided with base plate of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 12 mm made of Fe 410 grade steel conforming to IS 2062, fillet welded internally and externally, along with four numbers 16 mm dia EN-8 grade foundation bolts of minimum 600 mm 43 length. The complete pole assembly shall be hot dip galvanized internally and externally after fabrication by single dip process with minimum zinc coating thickness of 70 microns conforming to IS 2629, IS 2633 and IS 4759. The pole shall be provided with 1.0 m long single arm bracket suitable for direct fixing of weatherproof canopy type luminaire and suitable internal arrangement for terminal box with SMC terminal connector and rewirable fuse, covered with minimum 500 mm long reinforced weatherproof door with internal locking, chain, gasket sealing and minimum IP-54 protection. The pole foundation including excavation, concrete, reinforcement, insertion of 63 mm OD PVC pipe of 1.0 m length and embedding of foundation bolts shall be executed by the contractor as per manufacturer's approved design and the pole shall be erected to true plumb. The pole shall be manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified unit and necessary drawings and documentary proof shall be submitted and approval obtained prior to supply. The rate shall be inclusive of all materials, foundation works, erection, testing and commissioning complete.

Wiring of light points through octagonal pole with 3 core 1.5 sq.mm wire. The price offered shall be inclusive of the cost of 1.5 sq mm wire PVC insulated copper cable three numbers one for phase, one for neutral and one for earth or 3 core 1.5 sq mm PVC insulated copper cable 44 confirming to IS 694 for extending the power supply from the terminal box to the lamps erected on the pole. No intermediate joints will be permitted in copper cable. The price offered shall be inclusive of the cost of labour charges required for wiring the lamp post. If the pole is fitted with double arm arrangement for providing two light fittings, Two sets of cable shall be provided.Measurement will be taken as two for double arm lamp post whereas measurement for this item will be counted as one when pole is equipped with single light fitting.

Supply Erection Testing and commissioning of 45W LED Street light fitting made up of pressure die cast Aluminium alloy for housing (heat sink) for effective thermal management ,optic lens and glass diffuser for uniform light distribution with LED Efficacy of 130 lumens/watt,10kV SPD and 50000 burning hours,IP 66 protection,working on 100-285V,50Hz.The fitting should be fixed on octagonal pole/wall including wiring by 3x1.0 Sqmm copper wire in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. The Warranty for the LED Light fitting will be 5 years and the payment condition will be followed as per Special condition of contract para 3.7.

Supply and fixing of transparent polycarbonate box of similar to model no.KG 9002 in the PF shelter for cable termination with 1 no of 64A 4 way connector complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. Note: For cable termination and distribution.

Supply and fixing of PVC surface box of suitable size with suitable size of plastic sheets on the top and fitted with 1 no of three plate ceiling rose,6A Flush type KITKAT fuse unit. The box will be fixed by the suitable size of GI clamps.

Fabrication, supply, fixing and commissioning of outdoor type powder coated MS cable end termination box made of 14 SWG sheet steel of size not less than 400 x 300 x 200 mm as 48 directed by Engineer in charge at site.The looping box shall consist of 100A/63A,4way terminal connectors and shall be fixed on suitable 6mm thick Hylum sheet with proper cable looping/terminal connections. The loop box shall have back clamps of suitable size for fixing at wall/Lamp post/Stanchion.

Supply erection testing and commissioning of Single Phase 16A Astronomical timer switch for Street light control IP 20 with timer controls as per IS 9000 (Q3),similar to SELEC model 49 no: ATS2M1-1-16A-230V,with rated voltage 230Volt,50 Hz, Operating Temperature range -10 to +50 deg C, with necessary fixing arrangements including wiring with complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site. The Test report from Central govt/NABL/ILAC accredited lab conforming to specification with warranty for 3 years should be submitted at the time of supply.

Supply, erection and testing of L.T. Earthing arrangements duly stenciling of earth 50 resistance value along with date as per Drg. no. CEE/CN/MS/16-2004, including supply and spreading of salt and charcoal 5 kgs in each for earth treatment etc , including supply / leading / laying /burying and concealing of 4 SWG GI wire from earth electrode to proposed MDB / SDB or elsewhere in an approved manner as directed by Section Engineer in charge at site.

Supply, Erection, Testing and commissioning of aesthetically designed Recess Mounted 24W LED panel light fitting with suitable accessories for mounting, the square/round type fitting should have LED Efficacy of minimum 100 (Lumens/watt),4kV surge protection with 50000 51 burning hours with IP40 protection. The fixture should be rigid, the fitting operating voltage range of 100-300 VAC supply, frequency of 50 Hz +/-5%. Fitting shall be fixed on ceiling including wiring by 3 Cx 1.0 sqmm PVC insulated & sheathed round flexible copper cable in an approved manner as directed by the Engineer in charge at site. The Warranty for the LED Light fitting will be 5 years and the payment condition will be followed as per Special condition of contract para3.7.

Supply and fixing of Switch Disconnector Fuse of 63 A capacity(DIN Type) front operated, cubicle type with HRC fuse links conforming to IS/IEC:60947-3 in the metallic enclosure complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply and fixing of Switch Disconnector Fuse of 100 A capacity(DIN Type) front operated, cubicle type with HRC fuse links conforming to IS/IEC:60947-3 in the metallic enclosure complete in an approved manner and as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Supply at site, erection, testing & commissioning of Horizontal flush/ wall mounting type , powder coated sheet steel , SPN MCB 12 Way distribution board phosphatised and powder coated, double door with supply and fixing of 1 Nos. of 32 amps DP RCBO with 10 KA short circuit capacity and 30mA sensitivity, as incoming control with 8 Nos. of 6-32 amps SP MCBs with 10 KA 57 breaking capacity as outgoing control, including internal wiring by suitable wire and incoming cable termination using suitable terminal block with suitable cable gland, earthing / neutral din channel complete with all accessories duly making necessary opening on the wall and masonry work for controlling power/lighting/fan circuits in each building in an approved manner as directed by the section in charge at site. Supply at site, erection, testing & commissioning of vertical Flush/wall mounting type ,powder coated sheet steel , SPN 16 Way distribution board phosphatised and powder coated, double door with supply and fixing of 1 Nos. of 32 amps DP RCBO with 10 KA short circuit capacity and 30mA sensitivity, as incoming control with 12 Nos. of 6-32 amps SP MCBs with 10 KA breaking 58 capacity as outgoing control, including internal wiring by suitable wire and incoming cable termination using suitable terminal block with suitable cable gland, earthing / neutral din channel complete with all accessories duly making necessary opening on the wall and masonry work for controlling power/lighting/fan circuits in each building in an approved manner as directed by the section in charge at site. Note: 1.Bi-metallic washers must be provided for AL & Cu joints and for others GI bolts, Nuts & washers must be used. 2.Cable termination shall be using GI bolts & nuts with flat and spring washers & lugs invariably. 3. Board shall be fixed in concealed manner.

Supply and installation of Cable tray of Size 300mmx50mm height using50x50x6mm angles of perforated cable trays with perforation not more than17.5% fabricated out of Mild steel conforming to IS 2062/1079 and Hot dip galvanized as perIS2629/4759(galvanizing not less than 80 microns) in convenient sections, jointed with connectors complete as per the detailed specifications enclosed in the Annexure-I and as desired by the Engineer-in charge at site.

Supplying and installing following size of perforated Hot Dipped Galvanised iron cable 60 tray (Galvanisation thickness not less than 50 microns) with perforation not more than 17.5%,in convenient sections, joined with connectors, suspended from the ceiling with GI Suspenders including G.I bolts & nuts etc., as required-150mm width x 50 mm depth x 1.6 mm thickness.
