Amount

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation / fixing pole / laying cable and pipe line etc or for man hole etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to under ground electric cable including punning down of sand in layer all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: for measurement purpose punned thicness of sand only will be considered.

Demolition and taking out old broken bricks any type from the trenches etc.

Supply and laying common burnt bricks of sub class ‘B’ laid flat at right angle on the cable complete all as directed in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levilling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exeecding 25 cm thick using excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated Soil to a distence not exceeding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point.

M&L in replacement for earth continuity conductor or main earthing strip fixed to wall/ chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit (pipe/fixed to poles) of any type or any other situation for loop earthing etc with GI strip of size 25 X 4mm complete all as specified by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggrgate for foundation of stay assembly, pole, struts etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggrgate as in pedestal of pole / struts including use and waste of necessary form work and finishing exposed faces of concrete even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over one coat red oxide primer.

Supply and fix in replacement Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 250 mm x 200 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour in replacement for 80 mm dia bore GI steel tubing light grade for protection of cable / earth continuty conductor fixed to poles / walls / roof or laid in floors, road, crossing or ducts fixed with clamps , bolts nuts and wahser etc including taking down old pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for renewal of earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m deep below normal ground connected to galvanized steel wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washer of galvanized steel, watering pipe of 20 mm bore, galvanised iron, medium grade, and 15 mm bore galvanised iron light grade for earth wire protection including all excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 and RCC 1:2:4, type B1 for precast chamber cover 50 mm thick, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg / sqm) with cast iron frame, with charcoal, salt, funnel complete all as shown in the electrical plate No 3 of SSR part –I and testing on completion.
