Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil (soft/loose soil) not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth LT under ground cables/GI pipes for trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating post holes or similar holes, each not exceeding 0.5 Cum, getting out in Soft/ Loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m & making good surface complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing averaging 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil, including site clearance, cutting of green vegetation, grass, subsequent to above spreading thin layer of anti-vegetation chemical as per the manufacturer instructions (make of chemical shall be as approved by the GE) near the 2/4 pole structures, GODs and various unmanned electric sub stations inside and outside of premises, also including disposal of all spoil, grass, green-vegetation etc outside of the premises, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The surface dressing shall normally be done once in three months for the Sub-Stations etc as ordered. Payment for each time shall be made for separately as per the actual work done at site.

M&L for sand coushioning to UG cables (8cm deep before laying of cables and 15 cm over the cable) including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- punned thickness of 18cm only will be considered for payment purpose.

Boring/Drilling (horizontally) manually under 2m deep in soil below existing road suitable for passing GI tubing of 40 to 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (SOIL) to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

(1:2:4) type B-I cover slab (reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar @ 15 cm C/C both ways and suitable handle of 10 mm dia round bar), including providing charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layers of 15 cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode, with funnel and 20 mm bore galvanized iron watering pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, aluminium lugs, complete in all respect, GI earth wire protected by 15 mm bore (medium grade) galvanized iron pipe and other end connected with main switch board or Earthing test point as directed, including necessary earth work and disposal of spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and necessary testing on completion including dismentaling old unsv ones complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead of GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point and including dismantling complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A1 cover slab, 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 15 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.

S&F 4 mm dia GI wire for earth continuity conductor for making connection from earth test point to main DB including taking down old unserviceable ones complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fixing GI strip 32x6 mm with necessary nut and bolt etc for connection with existing earting pit and electrical equipment complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for roof treatment in order of precedence as given below complete all as specified and as directed:- (i) Taking out of existing water proofing treatment and including padding, cleaning the surface using wire brush, brooming down and washing down with water to remove dust etc, and brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg of cement per Sqm. (ii) 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 on surface. (iii) Cleaning of plastered surface and applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr / Sqm. (iv) Supply and laying 3 mm (Minimum) thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufacturer with weight not less than 3.60 Kg per Sqm, reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric weight not less than 150 gms per Sqm. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30 cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (v) Applying one coat of water proofing paint with aluminium finish over APP as per manufacturer's instruction.

Item No. 80.00 contd/.. Note:- (a) Bituminous primer shall be "ShaliTex Primer" manufactured by M/s STP Ltd or equivalent in M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd or M/s Fosroc Chemicals or M/s Hindcon chemicals limited or M/s IWL India Limited (b) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done by torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (c) A minimum overlap of 100 mm and 75 mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and all overlaps and joints shall be sealed as per manufacturers instruction. (d) APP based polymeric membrane shall be “SUPER THERMOLAY” manufactured by M/s STP Ltd or “WP Shield” manufactured by M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd or equivalent of M/s Fosroc Chemicals or M/s Hindcon chemicals limited or M/s IWL India Limited (e) Water proofing paint shall be by M/s STP Ltd or M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd or M/s Fosroc Chemicals or M/s Hindcon chemicals limited or M/s IWL India Limited
