Excavation for earth work in all kinds of soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.90 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of line grades & cross section, transporting to the embankment location with all lifts & leads within airport premises including unloading etc. complete as per technical specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Spreading & Consolidation of local excavated earth (from outside Airport premises) in desired camber/line & level including all lifts & leads etc. complete (Excluding Rock) in embankments, depressions etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by watering & ramming with 0.5 tonne roller and every 3rd & topmost layer with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Preparation and submission of detailed structural design and drawing for RCC Retaining wall based on soil Investigation report issued by AAI. The item includes the cost of structural design based on IS codes and sound Engineering practices,to be prepared by a structural consultant and as per the site conditions for different height of Retaining wall, RCC framed structure boundary wall of height 2.44 M above RCC retaining wall. The structural drawings and designs as submitted by the consultant shall have to be got vetted / approved by any of IITs/NIT/Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR) Chennai and the fee for the same shall be paid directly by the contractor. The cost as incurred towards the same will be borne by the contractor. The contractor /consultant shall intimate authority (AAI) the details of IIT/ NIT/Structural Engineering Research Centre(CSIR) from where structural designs and drawings will be got approved/vetted. Approval of any design/system by IIT/NIT/Structural Engineering Research Centre(CSIR) AAI shall, however,not relieve the consultant & contractor in discharging his responsibilities regarding the adequacy of design and proper execution of the work.The consultant shall be fully responsible for adequacy, accuracy and quality of the entire services performed by him shall be in accodancce with the accepted standards of safety, environment and public health. The consultant shall be solely responsible for the adequacy of the structural design and safety of the above structures. The quoted rate for this item inclusive of above activity complete.
