Special repairs to HSC at Balur

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:5 (One Cement and Five M-Sand) using best quality Burnt Clay Brick of size 9" x 4 3/8" x 2 3/4" with class designation of 7.50 conforming to IS 1077-1992 for foundation and Basement including Cost of Mortar Plasticizer curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. Brickwork shall be done as per IS 2212-1991 adopting English Bond generally. Other type of bond shall be done as directed by the Executive Engineer in charge.

Supplying and fixing the MS-Channel /MS Angle /MS square or rectangular hollow section of various sizes for Rafters, purlins, clits, shed posts etc., Including labour charges for petty iron work for fixing with one coat of red oxide primer etc., complete.

Supplying , fixing and roofing with fully corrugated asbestos cement sheets (grey colour) of approved quality by drilling holes (and not by punching) with necessary ‘J’ / ‘U’ bolts and nuts of 8mm dia of suitable length and providing one set of bitumen washers of 25mm dia and 1.60mm thick for each bolt including protruding portion of bolts in roof shall be covered with bitumen compound etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying, fixing and roofing with colour galvalume sheet of 0.47mm thick with all necessary accessories such as J/V bolt and nuts of suitable length with suitable bitumen washers complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Fabricating supplying and fixing in position M.S Steel framed door with weldmesh and fine wire mesh netting etc. with necessary locking facilities and hinges including cost of red oxide primer etc.., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (One Cement, Five crushed stone sand and Ten hard broken granite stone jelly) using 40 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation and flooring including dewatering wherever necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick well rammed, consolidated and including curing etc. complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Paving the floor with best quality stain free Nano Polished vitrified Tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm and variety conforming IS 15622 with water absorbtion less than 0.08% of approved colour and shade laid over cement mortar bed of 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three crushed stone sand) with required Cement Slurry and Mortar Plasticizer in all floors and the top pointed with Water Resistant Tile Epoxy Grout etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works)

Flooring with Plain colour ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 6 mm laid over 20 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three M-Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.30 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specifications. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works)

Dadooing walls with Colour designed digital print ceramic tiles, with borders, with size of 300mm x 450mm x 8mm and above set in Cement Mortar 1:2 (One Cement and Two M-sand) 10mm thick and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.40 Kg. / sq.m. neatly in all floors, curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. (The make and brand of the tiles should be like Johnson / Kajaria / Somany / Nitco / RAK or Equivalent which has to be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works)

Supplying and fixing Cup-board Shutter using termite / water proof plywood of 19mm thick over which laminated sheet of 0.80mm thick fixed inside the shutter and 1mm thick fixed in the outside of the shutter using fevicol along with necessary furniture fittings, such as, hydraulic hinges, tower bolt, handles, multi purpose locks etc., as directed by the Departmental Officers. The design pattern, water proof plywood, laminate sheet and other materials should be got approved from the Executive Engineer befoe use on work.
