Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil.

Returning, filling in, approved earth including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 Cm thick after cable are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material / surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs & deposited where directed at a level not exc.1.5 mtr above the ground level complete all as specified & directed.

Note : Disconnect/connecting of existing incomer/Outgoing connection before repairing and painting of existing panel deems to be quotated rate)

Cutting of existing road for removing / laying pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 60 cm and width 45 cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 15cms with existing aggregate obtained from cutting , watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide 150 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 50 Mts and depositing where directed complete all as directed. (Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of 150 m thick PCC 1:3:6, cutting any type of road and removal of debris).

Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below the normal ground level connected to GI Strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron.Earth wire protected by GI pipe 15 mm bore(medium grade) and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I (2009) including necessary concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 40 cm x 40cm x 5cm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15cm C/C with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia bar, funnel, wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
