SCHEDULE 'A' PART I : REPAIRS TO DG SET

M&L for 'B' check of DG Sets of capacity 20KVA to 63KVA complete as per following :-(i)Draining out engine/lubricant oil, flushing including filling fresh oil after drain out old oil by skilled tradesman of DG set including replacement of oil pan /chamber gasket. (ii)S& F in replacement lubricant oil filter element. (iii)S&F in replacement fuel filter element. (iv)S&F bypass filter element. (v)checking and applying grease to battery terminals and checking its specific gravity including topping of distilled water /acid as required. (vi) General cleaning of oil/fuel spills, grease spots etc.(vii) Checking of belt tension and adjusting as per requirment.

All as per Srl item No 1.00 above but DG Set of capacity 100KVA to 225KVA.

Taking out the self starter (24 Volt) of DG Set capacity 320 KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only)

Taking out the self starter (24 Volt) of DG Set capacity 200 KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of unserviceable bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only )

Taking out the self starter (24 Volt) of DG Set capacity 100KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only)

Taking out the self starter (12 Volt) of DG Set capacity 20KVA to 63 KVA, and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only)

Taking out the charging alternator of DG Set capacity 320KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of rewinding unserviceable bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only).

Taking out the charging alternator of DG Set capacity 200 KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of rewinding unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only).

Taking out the charging alternator of DG Set capacity 100 to 165 KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of rewinding unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only).

Taking out the charging alternator of DG Sets of capacity 20 KVA to 63 KVA and shifting to workshop for rewinding of armature including replacement of unserviceable, bushes & minor parts & reinstalling the same after testing complete all as specified. (Note:-Spares replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item here in after as supply only).

Servicing of radiator assembly of DG Set 100 to 225 KVA and replacement of minor parts to make it operational including descaling of tubes with solution and chemicals and compressed air blast including transportation to workshop and back and re-fixing after testing complete and making it leak proof including replacement of worned out tubular hoses alongwith clip etc complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing of radiator assembly DG Sets 20 KVA to 63 KVA and replacement of minor parts to make it operational including descaling of tubes with solution and chemicals and compressed air blast including transportation to workshop and back and re-fixing after testing and making it leak proof complete all as specified.

Servicing of radiator assembly DG Sets 250 to 380 KVA and replacement of minor parts to make it operational including descaling of tubes with solution and chemicals and compressed air blast including transportation to workshop and back and re-fixing after testing and making it leak proof complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of air cleaner filter for DG Set capacity 250 to 380 KVA complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of air cleaner filter for DG Set capacity 100 to 225 KVA complete all as specified

Opening the coupling of DG Set of capacity 250 to 380 KVA the outer cover & taking out the fly wheel ring and shifting to workshop for repair in and including replacement of fly wheel ring by pressing machine and reinstalled the same after repair to make it fully fuctional complete all as specified.

Opening the coupling of DG Set of capacity 20 to 63 KVA, dismantling the outer cover & taking out the fly wheel ring and shifting to workshop for repair in and including replacement of fly wheel ring by pressing machine and reinstalled the same after repair to make it fully fuctional complete all as specified.

Opening the coupling of DG Set of capacity 100 to 225 KVA, dismantling the outer cover & taking out the fly wheel ring and shifting to workshop for repair in and including replacement of fly wheel ring by pressing machine and reinstalled the same after repair to make it fully fuctional complete all as specified.

Servicing of fuel pump /hand pump assembly to make it fully fuctional and fixing it to its original position of DG Set in any capacity including replacement of necessary filter element completes all as specified.

Repairs and maintenance of FIP including replacement of Plunger, Governor kit with pin, Nozzles P type, Head ball guide kit, Head sheet (set of 12 piece) Rock rod, Rollar bearing, Oil seal, Piston pin, Gasket kit and sleeves complete all as specified and directed for DG Set capacity 20 KVA to 63.5 KVA.

All as per item No 24 above but DG set capacity 100 to 225 KVA.

All as per item No 24 above but DG set capacity 250 to 380 KVA.

M&L for calibration of fuel injector assembly of DG Set of 100 KVA capacity at authorised workshop including replacement of cup, barrel and plunger injector washer etc, complete all as specified.

All as per item No 27 above but DG set capacity 200 KVA.

M&L for cleaning of diesel tank of DG Set of any capacity including replacement of worn-out pipe line and measuring scale and fixing in original position and make it leak proof with necessary clamps complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Battery charger 12 volt 10 Amps based on SMPS technology provides constant current with reverse protection and indicatoR, The charger shall support all brand batteries and compatible with 12 v 40 AH to 12 V 250 AH lead acid and alkaline batteries.

S&F in replacement fan assembly along with hub suitable for DG Set of any capacity complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-charge.

M&L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6.0mm buried directly in ground, vertically to depth not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level surrounded from all sides with alternate layers of charcoal and common salt and connected to GI strip of size 32x6mm by means of GI bolts, nuts washers & check nuts electrode connected to main switch board or main control board or on poles or on transformer and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI strip upto test point including providing funnel and wire mesh GI frame and 10cm thick suitably reinforced RCC pit cover, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates complete including excavation and earth work in any type of strata, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as specified and shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 (PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on earth pit) including testing on completion complete.

S&F change over switch 800Amps, 415 Volts,FP including disconnecting electric connection and dismantling existing change over switch.

Disconnecting the battery 12 Volts 180 AH from the DG set shifting to workshop for further dismantling for repair/replacement of cells, plates, reconditioning, filling of electrolyte of required specific gravity and charging the battery, after repair shifiting the batteries from workshop to E/M installation fixing to the DG set and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for cleaning of DG sets including removing of oil greese and spot washing carefully with soda water preparation of old painted surface and painting to the DG sets of capacity 20 to 320 KVA with two coats of spray painting of approved make and colour of first grade paint and making SM/MES No as per existing all as specified and directed.

Supply only distilled water for lead acid battery all as directed.

S&F in replacement of megnetic pick up sensor for 320 KVA DG Sets.

S&F in replacement of megnetic pick up sensor for 100 KVA DG Sets.

S&F in replacement Governor Card for 320 KVA DG set complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement Governor Card for 100 KVA DG set complete all as specified.

S&f 12 volts 180 AH battery with float guide to indicate Electrolyte level,spill proof, moulded handles, top vented lid with anti splash guards fitted with coin flush vent plugs, spark arrestor fitted in float to restrict fumes and acid during operation Complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement display unit of 63 KVA DG Sets. Display Board features of micropressesor based KG 934 controller :- (i) Engine parameter display:- Engine oil pressure, Engine temp, lab oil temp, canopy temp, Battery voltage, Engine RPM, Engine Running Hrs, Fuel level indicator, % of tank capacity. (ii)Engine protection:-Low oil pressure, High/low battery voltage, High engine temp, low radiator coolant level, Engine over speed, Engine under speed, low fuel level in diesel tank, Battery charging indicator. (iii)Electrical parameter display:-voltage, line to line, line to neutral, DG load current, Gen load voltage, frequency, load power factor, KW, KVA (iv) Electrical protection:-Over voltage, under voltage, over KVA, over Current.

Outsourcing of Manpower for Manning and Operation of DG Set of capacity 32 KVA - 01 No. along with DG Set Panel installed at 615 (I) AD BDE KLP in two shifts with One FGM (Skilled ) Per Shift (Each shift of 8 Hours continuous duration) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Notes for Srl item No. 57.00 to 69.00 of BOQ :- Note No.1:- (i) One FGM ( Skilled ) shall be employed by the contractor for Manning and Operation of DG Set including operating the DG Set Panel in each shift (Each shift of 8 Hours continuous duration) as per time table and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge . (ii) FGM shall keep the installation neat and clean including cleaning of DG Set for efficient maintenance of DG Sets . (iii) Necessary Tools and Plants requires for Efficient Maintenance of DG sets including minor stores i.e Fuel Filter / Oil filter etc. shall be provided by the contractor at his own arrangments and the rates are included in the quoted rates and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iv) If Major complaints / Problems occured during currency of work at the installation , FGM shall intimate to concerned JE or AGE immediately . (v) Daily log sheet as per specimen given by Department shall be provided and maintained by the FGM without any extra charges. (vi) Time of shift shall be decided by Engineer-in-Charge. No request of contractor will be entertained for change the time of shift. (vii) FGM shall keep neat and clean surrounding of installation including cutting of grass surface . No additional cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (viii) It is the responsibility of contractor to provide rest / reliever to the FGM. No additional cost shall be paid on this account. (ix) First aid Box complete with medicines shall be kept at the installation.

Notes for Srl item No. 57.00 to 69.00 of BOQ Continued... :- ( Note No. 1 Continue...) (x) DG Set Plant in operating condition shall be handed over to the contractor at the commencement of work .During handed over the DG Set Plant by the contractor to Department on completion of work shall be handed over in operating condition . (xi) The tenderers rates shall be deemed to have been considered for necessary transportation charges etc. for carrying out Diesel from the MES Store Yard of AGE E/M (Refg.) (place of issue) to site of work. The materials issued will be available in 20 liters Jerri cans or 200 liters drums. Three days requirements will be issued at a time and collection to be organized when one day requirement is left over at the installation. Contractor shall be liable for proper accounting.Required diesel shall be transport from MT store yard to installation under the supervision of JE/AGE.

Notes for Srl item No. 57.00 to 69.00 of BOQ Continued... :- Note No.2:- The tenderer shall not quote less than the Minimum fare wages which is Rs 593.00 as per latest minimum fair wage as prescribed by Govt of India. In case the rates quoted are less than or equal to the minimum wages such tender will be treated as non bonafide and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest quoted amount amongst valid/ bonafide bids only.
