REPAIRS TO ROOF CHAJJAS PLASTERING WATERPROOFING TREATMENT ETC IN CERTAIN BLDGS AT Domestic and Technical area

Providing and erecting single scaffolding for execution of work, using wooden ballies or steel tubular members, including ledgers, putlogs, bracing, rakers, clamps, couplers, base plates, working platforms with planks, guard rails and toe boards, complete, maintained in position for the required duration and dismantled after completion, including all labour, materials, tools, tackles and incidentals, as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of Plants/ Shrubs grown on walls/ slabs/beams by making holes or demolition of concrete etc , within a surface area n exc 0.1 Sqm and including applying suitable chemical for killing the roots of Plants, filling of holes with concrete and making good complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The rate includes scaffolding required for upto 15 Mtr high buildings.

Chipping/removing loose concrete in cloumns/beams/ chajjas/roof slab etc. up to reinforcement bars without damaging the reinforcement, removing all the loose material and to make all the exposed surface free from dust and all impurities etc complete all specified and directed.

Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose rust and then applying rust removal solution Reebaklens RR of Fosroc or equivalent by using brush application, leaving the surface for at least 15 to 30 minutes, then removing loose materials by scrubbing or with brush and applying anti corrosive coating to reinforcement Nitozinc primer of Fosroc or equivalent all as recommended by product manufacturer and as directed by E-I-C complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for providing additional reinforcement by welding or by any established methods to increase the strength of RCC as directed by Engr-in Charge. Note:- Making and filling of holes for anchoring rods will be measured and paid separately.

Drilling 12mm dia holes up to a depth of 75mm maximum and fixing 8mm dia L shaped anchor rods as shear connectors at every 300mm c/c on the surfaces of the columns/beams or any other structural member as the case may be. Clean the same using water and make sure that there are no fine particles present in the hole. Fill the drilled and cleaned holes to a minimum depth of 2/3rd of the hole with the Lokfix E75 of Fosrock or equivalent. Make sure that the resin has reached till the end of the hole. At this stage push the shear connector gently in to the hole and finish the excess resin which comes out of the hole and allow the shear connectors not to be disturbed for minimum 20 minutes complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying one coat of structural grade epoxy coat by brush of approved make . Mixing of two components will be as directed by manufacturer and all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make sure that it should be applied not more than 5 hours before application of micro concrete/polymer mortar etc complete all as specified and directed. Make :- Nitobond EP of FOSROCK or equivalent

Providing and applying n exc 40 mm thick (In layers of each 10mm thick) Shrinkage controlled, polymer modified, fibre reinforced cementitious repair mortar Renderoc SP 40 of Fosroc or equivalent mixed with water in a water & powder ratio 0.18 in ceiling of roof slab/Chajjas/Beams/Parapet walls etc . Note:- Quoted rate for this item and relevant items are deemed to be included for providing scaffolding for working in patches (Approx n exc 1 Sqm) upto a height of 15 Mtr complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing loose or damaged APP membrane patches n exc 2 sqm by cutting the required patch and prepare the patch to recieve new membrane treatment and providing APP based polymeric water proofing membrane 4 Kg/Sqm incorporating a centre core of 90 micron thick HMHDPE film including coating the surface with a coat of water based bituminous primer @ 0.2 Kg/sqm followed by a coat of blown bitumen of grade 85/25 or 90/15 @ 1.2Kg/Sqm each at top and bottom of the membrane complete including sealing all joints by thermo fusion with minimum 15 cm end overlap all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Hydraulically pressed burnt clay tile plain of size 200x200x19/20mm machine made laid over & including cement mortar screed 15mm thick in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound and jointed pointed in CM 1:3 mixed with 5% crude oil by weight of cement after taking out existing damaged tiles in patches n exc 0.5 sqm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
