Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50m wide, not exceeding 1.5M depth for laying of cables, pipe, poles, stays etc including taking out old bricks/ bats and stacking and cable including rolling for reuse and removal of unserviceable cable and brick bats from site etc and getting out complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separatelly, in case new holes are dug).

Returing, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by the as Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand (using sand suitable for plaster) 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches, punned down to 18cm with hand ramming complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Note:- 18cm compacted thickness shall be reckoned for the purpose of measurement and payment.)

Supply & Lay the bricks as brick protection using old size sub class ‘B’ old size, new bricks, laid flat, laid dry with width equal to length of brick, laid across the length of cable complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply, lay, joint, fix and test in replacement; LT XLPE insulated, armoured underground heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade of cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3.5 core, through pipes, in ducts, on poles, in trenches, to walls etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge .

Taking down carefully aluminium/copper point wiring on wooden battens/through conduit (light fan, socket or power) with and including PVC conceeded/surface conduct/batten/casing and caping complete with fittings such as switches, wooden batten, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, box type tube light fittings, removing the materials from site in the work and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls/ceiling/ floors etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation to steel surface of existing LT panels, LT feeder pillars boxes of any size and description internally and externally after scraping and scratching the old paint with emery paper etc, and painting with two coat of gray painting with spray gun and writing feeder names and numbers with suitable capital letters in English with white paint on and a black paint strip of size 20 cm x 25 cm all as directed

Material and labour for repair to LT panels feeder pillar box by dismantling old rusted and perished doors shutter and bus bar covers etc and providing new doors shutters, bus bar cover etc by cutting, welding, fabricating and made to existing shape with 3.15 mm plain black sheet and angle iron of required size including providing hinges and locking arrangement including material and labour for applying two coat of painting with synthetic enameled grey paing over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement; aluminum thimbles crimping type of size 16 to 25 Sq mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
