SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I

Taking down carefully any type of point wiring (light, fan, bell, socket or power), complete excluding fittings but including switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, etc. and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, ceiling, floors etc to match with existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for point wiring with PVC insulated and unsheathed cable single core multistranded copper conductor 1.5 sqmm size, 1100 volts, FRLS grade cable conforming to IS-694 1990 drawn in and including PVC Casing and Caping with all accessories including fabricated MS terminal boxes fixed flush with wall surface with 3mm thick masonite laminated sheet top cover fixed with brass screw for mounting switches, sockets, regulator etc including 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor earth continuity conductor to common earth and connecting to earth dolly all as specified for One light or fan point controlled by one 5 Amps switch one way complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 2 here-in-before but for One 3 pin 5 Amp switch socket outlet on independent board.

All as per item serial No 2 here-in-before but for One 3 pin 5 Amp socket outlet on same board with other switches.

All as per item No 2 here-in-before but wiring with 2.5 sqmm size single core multistranded copper conductor cable for 6 pin 15 Amps switch socket combination outlet on independent board with 2.5 sqmm PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor as earth and connected to earth dolly.

Taking out existing unserviceable switch board plates any type, dismantling switches carefully, stacking at site for use of serviceable switches and supply and fixing new 3mm thick masonite laminated sheet top cover fixed on 6 inch x 10 inch MS box with brass screw for mounting switches, sockets, regulator etc including making necessary electrical connection with 1.5 sqmm single core copper multistranded cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note : New Switches, sockets, fan regulators etc if required will be measured and paid separately under relevant items).

Taking down fan of any type/make and size of AC ceiling fan, carefully from fan hook, and transporting from any location inside army area to MES E/M store yard, and refixing on same location or other location after repairing complete all as specified and as directed.

Strip opening of ceiling fan 1200 /1400 mm sweep, cleaning thoroughly bush & ball bearing by petrol, washing/cleaning fan blades with caustic soda thoroughly, provision of fresh greasing, replacement of worn out/defective unserviceable parts (wherever necessary) reassembling the same and testing the fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately in respective items as supply only.

Cutting the existing copper winding of AC ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep and rewinding the armature (Rotor) with super enamelled copper wire of suitable size including provision of twisted twin core flexible wire upto 0.7 meters long size 24/0, 020 (ISI marked) all insulating materials including varnishing, heating and drying complete including satisfactory testing of fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Item No 62 here in before but ceiling fan 1400 mm sweep

Supply only ball bearing suitable for any type/make of ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm sweep all as directed. (Make : NBC/SKF/SBBI)

Supply only rubber reels including shackle clamp, bolts, nuts, washers split pins of appropriate size as required.

Supply only down rod 15mm dia GI pipe heavy duty 45 cm long including machining/ threading/drilling hole of size suitable for nuts and bolts washer and split pin suitable for any size and make of fan complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only plastic canopy upper & lower of any size and make of ceiling fan fixed with suitable size of screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down exhaust fan of size 200mm to 300mm sweep of any make and transporting from any location inside army area to MES E/M store yard, and refixing on same location or other location carefully after repairing, washing by petrol ,greasing, replacement of worn out/defective unserviceable parts (wherever necessary) assembling the same including provision of twisted twin core flexible wire upto 0.7 meters long size 24/0, 020 (ISI marked) and testing the fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately in respective items as supply only.

Cutting the existing copper winding of AC exhaust fan 200mm to 300mm sweep and rewinding the armature (Rotor) with super enamelled copper wire of suitable size including provision of twisted twin core flexible wire upto 0.7 mtrs long size 24/0, 020 (ISI marked) all insulating materials incl varnishing, heating and drying complete incl satisfactory testing of fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs, exhaust fan louver of out side building including making necessary arrangement like ladder/scaffholding etc and drilling of hole for fitting of exhaust fan louver complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only ball bearing suitable for exhaust fan 300 mm sweep all as directed. (Make : NBC/SKF/SBBI)

Supply only condenser ISI marked 230/240/250 volts AC 2.5 Mfd suitable for ceiling fan. (Make : Usha/Asian/EPCOS/Universal).

All as per Item No 72 here in before but 4.0 Mfd suitable for exhaust Fans (Make : Usha/Asian/EPCOS/Universal).

M&L for dressing of pre-wired casing caping/PVC conduit of One light/fan/exhaust fan point controlled by one number one way 5 Amp switch by changing Casing caping /PVC conduit and necessary connecting items (such as flexiable conduit ,screws etc) includind making good disturbed surface of wall/ceiling complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Sub main wiring with 2 runs of 1.50 sqmm, single core, PVC insulated & unsheathed cable conforming to IS-694, 1100 volts with copper conductor multi stranded drawn in and including 20 mm dia non metallic PVC grey conduit conforming to IS-9537 with all accessories such as Tees, Elbows, junction box, reducers etc as requied alongwith one run of 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated & unsheathed copper conductor as continuos earth wire dolly and connecting to existing main switch board / distribution board of each building / qtr as ordered and testing on completion including taking down old submain wiring and any type of conduitcomplete all as specified and as directed. Note : Three runs of cable and one run of PVC conduit will be measured as one Rm unit.

All as per item No 75 here-in-before but with 2 runs of 4.0 sqmm copper cable and 1 run of 4.0 sqmm copper cable for earth dolly. Note : Three runs of cable and one run of PVC conduit will be measured as one Rm unit.

All as per item No 75 here-in-before but with 2 runs of 6.0 sqmm copper cable and 1 run of 6.0 sqmm copper cable for earth dolly. Note : Three runs of cable and one run of PVC conduit will be measured as one Rm unit.

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6.3mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level sorrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers etc and connected to and including 4mm dia GI wire upto 7.5 m by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and protected by light grade 15mm dia GI pipe connected to main control board and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, charcoal,salt etc RCC pit cover flush to earth pit 50mm thick reinforced with 8mm TMT bar 100mmC/C and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) including excavation and earthwork disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 metre) and testing after completion all as specified and shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 1100 volts grade heavy duty flat cable of size 4 Sqmm 2 core, PVC insulated aluminium solid conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 m apart including replacing 4mm suspension wire complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cable junction box of size 130x130x77mm , IP66 with metric knockout for cable entry (Dust and power jet proof according to IEC 60529), shock proof, rust free ,corrosion free acid and chemical resistant ,fire retardant having high impact (IK08) totally insulated (class II) made of halogen and silica free recyclable material UV resistant having high grade gasket made of polyurethane ,one no MCB DP 6 Amps with locking arrangement and M40 size cable gland and one M32 size gland suitable for 2.5-6.0 sqmm cable complete as directed. Make : HENSEL cat no-DK 0600 G or equivalent.
