(b) M & L screed bed and bedding layer of Mortar 20mm thick in CM 1: 4 for roof slab mixed with water proofing compound (to be measured and paid separately) as per manufactures instruction finished even and plain complete. (c) Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight). (d)Preparing & cleaning of fully dried cement concrete surface. (e) Applying one coat of cold bituminous primer to the plastered surface @ 0.25 litres per sqm conforming IS-3384. (f) A layer of APP based polymeric membrane membrane 3mm thick (minimum) weighing 3.5 kg per sqm reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weighing not less than 160 gms/sqm) shall be applied over bituminous primer as specified above.
