Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out soft / loose soil completed all as specified & directed.

Excavating over areas n exc 1.5m deep and for foundation etc and getting out in soft / loose soil completed all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc. 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, Returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil completed all as specified & directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point for soil completed all as specified & directed.

M&L for Hand packing of broken stone or boulder (any thickness) at back of walls over arches etc. and raising (or lowering) to the required level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken stone boulders completed all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC type C2 1:3:6 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates on in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
