| 1 | REPAIR TO CHAIR WOODEN BOTTOM / CHAIR BKB (FD- 285)
Material and labour in replacement for seat of chair wooden bottom, made out of 6 mm thick commercial plywood of BWR grade of make century/archid/greeply duly laminated wtih 0.8 mm sunmica sheet (perforated in the centre) fixed with 12 Nos screws of suitable size, all as per drawing and as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Common Notes for : Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows (Sl No 1.00 to 22.07):-
(a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (Sl No 1.00 to 22.07)
(b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE (Air Force ) Bamrauli including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Sl No 1.00 to 22.07):-
(c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood (Shagwan/ Assam Teak ) free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (Sl No 1.00 to 22.07).
(d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (Sl No 1.00 to 22.07)
(e) For wooden items:M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of complete existing polish making surfae smooth by sand paper (Emery paper) with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. There should be atleast one day gap in each step during polishing/painting .(Sl No 1.00 to 22.07 where ever applicable ) (f): For steel items:- M&L for painting two coat of hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.here should be atleast one day gap between every step of painting.
