SCHEDULE A BOQ

Servicing/ Periodical maintenance of following capacity DG Set of any make consisting of complete servicing and checking entire system as per manufacturer's catalogue including testing complete with replacing of minor consumables items like grease, nut bolts etc during conducting periodic servicing as per the manufacturer's recommendation at the time of routine monthly checks. Capacity 15 to 20 KVA DG Set - Location :- AFWWA 5 BRD /SES /Armoury/watch tower -(02 Nos)/ perimeter - (03 Nos) - 08 No Maintenance Schedule of DG Sets :- The contractor shall carried out following activity during the period of contract :-

(a) Following maintenance of DG Sets to be carried out :-

(i) Clean the external surface of the DG set.

(ii) Check engine oil level.

(iii) Check engine coolant level.

(iv) Check fuel in the tank.

(v) Check all nuts and bolts.

(vi) Check tension of fan belts.

(vii) Check batteries and battery connections.

(viii) Check fuel lines and fuel tank.

(b) Following maintenance of AMF Panels :-

(i) Checking all electrical connections.

(ii) Checking all contact points/ Bus bars.

(iii) Checking timers (AC/ DC).

(v) Check RPM, Voltage, Amps and Hz.

(vi) Checking indicator lamps.

(vii) Checking main auxiliary contacts and relays.

(viii) Checking contact coils.

(ix) Checking, volt/ amps/ energy/ PF/ KWH meters/ CT's.

(x) Checking auto/ manual functions.

(xi) Check and tight screws and bolts.

(xii) Check battery charger output voltage.

(xiii) Cleaning the panel.

(xiv) Checking all MCCB's and fuses.

(xv) Checking alarms and hooter.

(c) Quarterly maintenance of DG Sets to be carried out :-

(i) Check oil bath cleaner oil level.

(ii) Check for proper tension in the belts.

(iii) Check starting battery electrolyte level and specific gravity.

(iv) Check the fuel lines from the tank for leakages.

(v) Check the end cover of the alternator and tighten the bolts.

(vi) Check physically the exhaust silencer for rigidness.

(vii) Check the water hoses for leakages if any.

(viii) Drain sediment from fuel filter & fuel tank.

(ix) Check dry type air filter element and clean.

(x) Check engine alternator coupling and mounting bolts.

(xi) Tight all bolts and nuts in alternator terminal box.

(xii) Check for any unusual sound during cranking of the engine.

(xiii) Check for any fuel/ water leakages.

(xiv) Check for any unusual vibrations.

(xv) Check proper charging of battery.

(xvi) Check exhaust system for any leakages.

(xvii) Check for proper circulation of coolant/ cooling of engine.

(xviii) Check physically the exhaust silencer for rigidness.

(xix) Check throttles linkage.

(xx) Checking to electric control panel throttle linkage.

(xxi) Supply and greasing to all bearing & movable parts.

(d) Quarterly Schedule to be carried out :-

(i) Checking of hydraulic governor oil level and toping up level.

(ii) Clean the crank case breather.

(iii) Check battery charging system & topping up electrolyte and maintenance of specific gravity.

(iv) Checking electric connection & generator control panel.

(v) Greasing to all bearing and movable parts.

Note :- The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the followings :-

(a) The contractor shall visit the location of DG Sets before quoting the tender.

(b) Servicing of DG Set shall be carried out by authorised dealer/ agency of manufacturer as approved by Engineer-in-Charge and where service/ repair is being carried out at site shall be under the expert supervision of authorised service agent on quarterly basis

(c) The make of DG sets are Kirloskar/ Ashok Leyland/ Greaves Cotton/ Birla/ Cummins

(d) The contractor shall employ sufficient number of manpower required for routine maintenance of DG sets.

(e) Filling of DHPP (N) in all mentioned DG Sets at various locations will be the responsibility of the contractor. However, DHPP (N) will be issued by MES.

(f) DHPP (N) required at the time of maintenance/ testing will be issued by MES.

(g) Representative of contractor shall maintain & update the maintenance/ breakdown register regularly and same will be checked by Engineer-in-Charge periodically.

(h) The checking of DG set shall be done once in a quarter but whenever breakdown occurs in DG set, the contractor has to attend all complaint unlimitedly through authorised service agent of the equipment/ machinery.

(j) The unit rate is deemed to be included for Cleaning of the surrounding area of DG set 5 mtr from plinth protection of E/M installations including removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15cm cleaning / Cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/ kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste to outside MD land.

(k) In case of minor defect, entire Job shall be completed within 06 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ Rs. 500/- per hours shall be recovered.

(l) In case of major defect, the period for attending of complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC by accessing extent of repair required through joint inspection by Engineer-in-Charge and authorised service agent of the equipment at the site. If complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay, then penalty at the rate of Rs. 600/- per hours shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor.

(m) Please note that above penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(n) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(o) The contractor should be responsible to maintain the DG set in serviceable condition for entire contract period.

S&F Pre painted Coloured Corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dimantling of existing one all complete all as directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dimantling of existing one all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 87 & 88 (Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensure that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

M&L Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L MS flat iron wind ties for roof including securing bolts including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc. , and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces under 10 cm girth or width and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 96 & 97:- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

Supply and fix in replacement of DG controller unit suitable for DG set 40 KVA to 82.5 KVA of as per existing Make all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of radiator hose of any capacity all as specified and as directed.

M&L for lubrication oil SAE 15 W - 40 grade API CI 4 plus type in sealed container for DG set Top up and change the oil in the sump after completely flushing the old oil out from the tank/sump and cleaning of the same all as directed by Engineer-in-charge (Make : Castrol/Valvoline/Servo)

S&F power contactor MCX32, 4 pole with 1 No + INC contacts and coil voltage 240 V/415 volt including taking down unserviceable one, complete all as specified and as directed. Make : L&T/ BCH/ Schneider

Supply and fix in replacement of lubrication oil filter element with 'O' ring of Make MICO / Kirloskar / Mahle/ Cummins as required at site for 15/ 18 KVA capacities of DG Sets all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling/ taking down complete radiator assembly of 810 KVA DG Set and transportation to authorised workshop for following repairs :- (a) Opening the radiator assembly with brazing/ welding for repair/ service. (b) Cleaning of all water tube with diluted solution of HCL and cleaning with water pressure and removing the sludge and dust from inside the tank by flushing out. (c) Determining the leak/ puncher in radiator tubes. (d) Repair of fins by soldering/ brazing. (e) Repair of bottom brass water tank by soldering/ brazing. (f) Repair of radiator hose assembly. (g) Fixing the complete radiator assembly to its original position and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs DG set control panel auto on / off switch suitable for 810 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs mechanical type diesel float switch assembly complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs off load change over switch 200 amps capacity 4 pole 3 phase with enclosure complete all as specified and directed. Make-Legrand/ L&T / C&S

Supply and fixing in repairs door beading gasket for DG of 62.5 KVA to 160 KVA capacity complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of contactor 63 A complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Schnieder model:- LADN22/ L&T/ BCH

Removing and replacing the old unserviceable AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for Kirloskar curve of capacity 82.5 to 160 KVA having input voltage 2 phase + neutral sensing voltage 415 output voltage 95V DC, output current 4A DC voltage regulation +/- 1 % average volts, over excitation current tripping, fuse protection 4A, fast acting and frequency 50 Hz complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Kirloskar / Cummins/Crompton Greaves.

Supply and fix in replacement of captive AMF micropocessor window for auto functioning without causing any damage to other components and testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L disconnecting all electrical connection and mechanical attachments of 82.50 KVA DG set and safely lifted and shifted by the crane from the 33 Sqn to ATC Power House and positioned on the platform duly connecting electrical and mechanical attachment with existing LT Panel including AMF connection testing and commissioning etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Any damages happened in DG set during lifting/ shifting/ installation work, the same will be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt).

M&L disconnecting all electrical connection and mechanical attachments of 62.5 KVA DG set and safely lifted and shifted by the crane from the GDCC to single officers Accn atOfficers mess and 33 Sqn New Hanger to Kiran+Kamal Park positioned on the platform duly connecting electrical and mechanical attachment with existing LT Panel including AMF connection testing and commissioning etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Any damages happened in DG set during lifting/ shifting/ installation work, the same will be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt).

M&L disconnecting all electrical connection and mechanical attachments of 50 KVA DG set and safely lifted and shifted by the crane from the 151 HU to 43 Wing SNCOs mess positioned on the platform duly connecting electrical and mechanical attachment with existing LT Panel including AMF connection testing and commissioning etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Any damages happened in DG set during lifting/ shifting/ installation work, the same will be rectified by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt).
