Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the form of regular pit not exceeding 1/2 metre (20'') in depth and earthwork in embankment to be 20 cm (8'') layers including ramming and dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 mts lead. The earth form cutting to be used in making embankment or to be desposited on spoil banks within 30 m. (100 ft.) distance as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Brick edging on both sides of roads of 1st class bricks 8 cm wide & 12 cm deep laid with mud mortar including labour & supply of bricks finished to required template and in proper alignment and also including dressing & ramming the excavated earth including all labour T & P sundries required for completion of work with material.

Brick soling with straight over burnt bricks laid flat and dry including preparation of sub grade to prescribed camber filling joints with local earth spreading binding coat 1 cm (3/8 ") depth of local earth over the entire surface and including labour and T&P etc required for proper completion of work.
