| 7.00 | Note -
1) All type of shuttering shall be designed by contractor and submitted to Engineer in charge along with design calculations (if required) for approval and got approved by Engineer in charge. However, Overall responsibility of shuttering in all manner shall of the contractor. Shuttering shall be executed as per approved shop drawing.
2) Some RCC elements (if required and as suggested by EIC) shall be lapped by using a mechanical coupler and it shall include Providing and fixing parallel threaded couplers/ reducer conforming to IS:16172 to reinforcement bars including threading, enlargement at connection by forging, protecting the prepared reinforcement bars and related operations as required to complete the works as per detailed technical specifications and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The position of the coupler shall be approved by the Engineer in charge. No extra payment shall be made for the coupler.
3) Rate shall be inclusive of dewatering work (pumping out and removing slush) while execution in underwater conditions. The contractor shall not claim for dewatering if required.
5) Rate shall be inclusive of providing grooves, drip moulds, pockets, cut-outs etc. and co-ordination of insert sleeves, insert plate (cost of insert sleeves shall be paid separately), encasing if any wherever required while casting for all level all height.
6) Shuttering shall be compatible for heavy / bulky RCC elements, wherever required.
7) Mould release agent of approved make shall be used at every repeatation on formwork material.
