Labour Charges for rectification of general electrical faults in all electrically connected boards/equipments/all electrical accessories,including replacement, cleaning and making them in good working condition in all hostel zone buildings and as per the terms & condition vide annexure.The replacement items should also be returned promtly for accountability.The rectification of defects and replacement of accessories should be carried by posting minimum 5 Qualified Electricians & 5 Helpers and 1 Qualified supervisor. 3 sets should be made available from 9.00 am to 6.00pm(1 hour break) and other 2 sets should be made available from 3.30pm to 12.30am(1/2 hour break). However, it is the resposibility of the sucessful bidder to complete the complaints received on same day or post more technician if the complaints have not been attended in the same day. The Fortnight report about the progress of work should be sumitted in the specific format should be submitted. The contractor should strictly follow the labour regulation act and miniumum wages act.

Labour charges for one meter reader cum technician for taking Electrical Energy Meter readings every month in Hostel buildings as instructed by the Engineer in-charge and preparing computerized statements with printouts and in addition to receiving day to day complaints over phone and through online, allocating the work, closing of job card and online complaints etc.

The minimum duration of the posting will be 4 hours. Every four hours will be calculated as 1 duty.

Labour charges for making temporary power connection by laying 4 core 16 sq.mm alu.arm cable and making the energy meter panel for different vendors for taking temporary power supply.

Labour charges for checking the earth electrode as and when required as directed by the concerned engineer at site using suitable earth megger and tools & plant and submit the printed report or log sheet/book. The charges inclusive of pouring of the water after checking the earth electrode.

Charges for cleaning the fans,fittings,switch boards and other electrical accessories with requried cleaning agents.

Charges for engaging 2 semiskilled to carry out various electrical related works such as removing the existing wirings,transporting the equipments, accessories from one place to other place(without any conveyance) within the campus,transportation of ladders, relocation of stores if any and other works as and when arisen.
