| 1 | Providing and carrying out comprehensive ground vibration measurement, and analysis at the designated site for a period of seven days (24×7) in two phases, including all labour, supervision, instruments, equipment, transportation, lodging, boarding, calibration, data acquisition, processing, analysis, and reporting complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall comprise preliminary survey of the site for three measurement locations arranged approximately 120° apart within an area of about 360 m diameter, installation of high-sensitivity seismic-grade triaxial accelerometers with proper coupling to exposed bedrock or suitably constructing rigid piers where bedrock is not available, and deployment of a high-precision 24-bit multi-channel data acquisition system for simultaneous recording in North, East and Vertical directions. Monitoring of vibrations shall be carried out for seven days in two phases (Phase 1 for 2 days followed by Phase 2 for 5 days) with periodic validation, inspection, and secure storage of data so that performance, data quality, instrumentation and interpretation of results of Phase 1 can be reviewed before commencement of Phase-2. The recorded data shall be processed to derive acceleration, velocity, and displacement, perform frequency-domain analysis using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Power Spectral Density (PSD), RMS and integrated response analysis, 1/3 octave band analysis, determine Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) and dominant vibration frequencies, directional and spatial analysis, time variation analysis, advanced analysis, identify contributing vibration sources, and evaluate against relevant standards. A detailed technical report shall be submitted, including methodology, instrumentation, calibration, analysis, graphical representation, comparison with applicable standards (ISO, BIS, IS, DIN, IEC, and other relevant codes), observations, conclusions, and recommendations, along with presentation of the findings to the Engineer-in-Charge.
