COMPREHENSIVE/PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS CAPACITY DG SETS INSTALLERS AT VARIOUS CAPACITY DG SETS INSTALLED AT VARIOUS LOCATION IN NON TECHNICAL AREA AF STATION ARJAN SINGH UNDER GE AF PANAGARH

Comprehensive maintenance for a period of twelve months of following capacity of DG sets installed at various location with cleaning, Oiling,Greasing, topping, calibration, repairs to diesel engine and including replacement of spares parts like clamps, v Belt of any size,pipe with fittings, check the level of coolant in radiator, repairs to leakage in radiator etc. Gaskets & Oil seals, servicing of the water pump, adjustment of fuel firing, Minor repair of self starter, Alternator, Auto Voltage Regulator, Battery & top up of Electrolite solution, arresting the oil leakage and topping up of engine oil, replacement of U/S oil level tube provided on the fuel tank for checking of oil level. The same has to be calibrated and level marked on the tank, Repair of wiring control panel of DG set of suiatable size of copper wire including repair/Replacement off toggle switch etc & connected accessories all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge through Authorised Manufacturer's service Centre Engineers or through OEM certified agencies as directed.(Spare parts to be measured and paid here in after under Prime Cost Sum) : 250 KVA = 01 Nos,

Note For Srl Item No 1 : (i) The Contractors agrees to provide the following comprehensive services arising out of wear and tear of the normal usage of DG Sets (ii) Preventive and Corrective Maintenance : The authorised service representative of OEM or OEM certified agencies shall visit the site once in a month for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on all the units installed at site. This includes maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronic parts / sub-assemblies. The preventive maintenance report will be as per the manufacturer's instruction and as specified in Particular Specification. The contractors can claim payment on monthly basis. In that case the payment shall be made with pro-rata basis on quoted rates. (iii) Breakdown Maintenance : The authorised service representative of OEM or or OEM certified agencies will carry out all breakdown maintenance after receiving information (written or oral) from GE(AF) Panagarh officials or their representatives, The OEM's authorised service representative or or OEM certified agencies will carry out the required repairs of the units and inform office about the status of site. No payment shall be made on this account of any breakdown service during comprehensive maintenence period. (iv) Breakdown maintenance calls will be attended within a maximum of 24 hours of the receipt of the complaints. (v) In case the complaints are not attended/resolved within the stipulated time as per the clause no: (vi), the Contractor is liable to pay Rs.500/- per unit per day till such time the unit is attended/resolved.(vi) The Contractor will employ trained service engineers / technicians certified by their principal OEM for the service under this comprehensive maintenance period. (vii) The Contractor will also maintain service reports for all visits & breakdown visits & copy of the same will be submitted every month. (viii) The cost of the above are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and fix in repairs maintanance free lead acid battrey 12 volts, 24 plate, 180 AH and outer case having the low/high electrolyte indication Make Exide/Amron/Amco.

Supply and fixing in repairs maintenance free lead acid battery 12V 24 plates 150 AH complete as per manufacturer direction Make: Amaron/ Exide/Amco

Supply and refill 20 W 40 grade engine oil including taking down the old used engine oil from the DG sets complete all as specified and as directed.

Prime Cost Sum. The prime cost is to be used as directed by the Accepting Officer vide condition 1 (v) and 5 of IAFW-2249 of General Condition of Contract forming part of the tender documents. (a) Provide a prime cost of Rs 383000.00 for supply of spare parts of various capacity of DG sets after dismantling and ordered convening BOO by the Accepting Officer. The material shall procured directly from the OEM aurhorised dealer or as directed by Engr-in-Charge (b) Contractor quoted rate shall be included for overhead and profit and all taxes and insert amount to cover all. However, quoted amount shall not exceed 15% (Fifteen Percentage) of estimated amount. In case, the contractor quoted amount is in excess of 15% of the estimated amount, the same shall be restricted to 15% and the amount quoted shall be corrected accordingly to work out the contract sum.
