CERTAIN REPAIR TO TAXI TRACK, JOINT FILLING AND PAINTING WORKS AT DISPERSAL AREA IN RUNWAY AND OTHER MISC WORKS SERVICES AT 3 BRD, AF UNDER GE(AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Excavation in trenches, n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells cesspits manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil

Demolition of cement concrete (PQC) slab of any description (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving n.exc 30 cm thickness ( below or above ground level) as in dispersal runway/taxi track without disturbing the adjacent side slabs by cutting with mechanically operated diamond cutter or any other source as approved by GE and removing the rubbish outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation, filling , mass concrete and as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for ready mixed concrete (RMC) for pavement quality concrete (PQC) as in pavement of flexural strength 45 Kg/Sqcm lower control limits in field using minimum 400 Kg cement per Cum (with maximum size of coarse aggregate upto 40mm) laid to slope to match with existing surrounding slab including bull nosing of the edging of slab along the joints and finishing the surface by battens and brooming including necessary form work complete over layer of polyethlene filim (400 micron thickness) over layer of 10 mm thick sand layer all as specified and directed. Note : Filling of joints shall be measured & paid for separately under respective item of this schedule.

M&L brickwork with sub class "B" bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drain finishing surface even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all specified and directed.

M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab placed in position including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using12.5mm graded agg.) as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for flush pointing to brick walls in cement mortar 1:3 complete all specified and directed.

M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slabs placed in position complete including necessary form work and demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing the demolished material out side defence land complete all as specified and directed.

S&F TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking bending spirally for hoping for columns hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips quality complete all as specified and directed.

M&L forming 8mm wide x 25mm deep construction joints (using diamond cutter) and filling with polyurethane joint sealant compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 10mm (depth minimum above the back up rod) and minimum Movement accommodation Factor (MAF) + or -30% conforming to the requriement of BS 5212 and EN 141876 1003 for Hydrolysis/Water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 10mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod applying masking taps on edge of joints to prevent residential slippage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacturer recommendation specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No 13 here-in-before but 8mm wide x 75mm deep dummy joints complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to damaged broken cement concrete edges between two adjacent slabs and pot holes of taxi/runway/dispersal by cutting (square/rectangular shape) of any depth with cutter or chisel, cleaning surfaces and removing of loose material & dust by blowers and disposing off rubbish outside MoD land and applying evenly one coat of epoxy resin primer and filling in with elastomeric concrete complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. or equivalent in SIKA, BASF, FOSROC Note : During repair the disturbed joints of slab shall be made good to full depth as required with sealing compound grade 'B' ISI marked without any extra cost and the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates of this item.

Raking out existing sealing compound from expansion, contraction & dummy joints of width 20 to 35mm in concrete and in any existing depth by mechanical means, preparing and cleaning of sides, bottom and edges of adjoining slabs with solvent soaked cloth to remove sticked old sealing compound completely, cleaning the surface of the joints with wire brushes and finally removing and cleaning dust etc with compressed air to make it free from all foreign particles, filling with polyurethane joint sealing compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth of 10mm above the (backup rod) including one coat of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene backup/backup sheet of required size & shape over bituminous joint filler board in position applying masking tape on edges to prevent accidental slippage off solvent on top surface and to give a neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete all as per manufacture instructions including removal of loose & foreign materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and directed. Note : Where ever depth of joints exceeds 25mm (PU and back up rod), the additional depth shall be filled with preformed bituminous filler board without any extra cost

All as per Srl item No 16 here-in-before but 35 to 50mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint old steel or iron surfaces of any description including preparation of surfaces of any description , not otherwise described , over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting two coats of water based paint by mechanical means after preparation of old surfaces as per manufacturer's instruction for making lines, dashes arrows, letters etc on roads, pavement, runways and other like surfaces exc 10cm width or girth conforming to the requirements of IS-164 (1981) white, golden complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes : This item may have to be executed twice during of contract. The same will be measured separately each time.

M&L for painting two coats of water based paint by mechanical means after preparation of new surfaces as per manufacturer's instruction for making lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavement, runways and other like surfaces exc 10cm width or girth conforming to the requirements of IS-164 (1981) white, golden complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for excavation/desludging/desilting as in liquid/dry mud/foul conditions of any depth and cross section width 0.50m to 1.20m getting out from existing drain and cleaning the shrubs/grass from sides of drain including removing existing RCC cover slab of any size and thickness and resetting in the same position and removing the sludge outside the defence land in covered container complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes : This item may have to be executed twice during of contract. The same will be measured & paid separately each time.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material from site to outside the defence land all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing RCC cover slab of any size and thickness existing drain and refixing in the same position after repairing the drain complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning the shrubs and grass of aprons and removing the rubbish outside defence land complete all as specified and directed.
