Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The necessary certificates / documents shall be scanned and attached to e-tender document. Scanned signature of the bidder/ authorized representatives of the bidder shall be attached while uploading the bid document. The original certificate/ documents shall be produced prior to the opening of bid for verification. The original of all above documents shall be produced for verification otherwise the tender will be treated as non-responsive bid and rejected

During technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any certificates/information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of construction materials, work men, land required for construction activities, etc before submission of bids

All materials like steel, cement etc., required for the above work should be procured by the contractor only. No departmental supply of any material shall be made by KBJNL.

Typographical errors, if any will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever

Corrigendum/Addendum will be published in the kppp web site /newspapers for all modifications / corrections if any

The requisite Earnest Money Deposit (e-cash).

Bidder shall be the domicile of the state of Karnataka for more than 10 years. Hence Relevant Domicile certificate

To qualify for award of the respective contract each tenderer in his nameshould have in the last five year period i.e. from 2021-22 to 2025-26 Achieved in at least One financial year a minimum financial turnover certified by a practicing Chartered Account bearing the UDI number (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of value usually not less than the Amount put to tender under this contract for works

Eligible Tenderers will be qualified only if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under if work is Reserved for SC/ST/Category-I & IIA only:- Assessed available tender capacity (A x N x 5.0 - B)

Within5 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptancei.eat the time of Agreement, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to theEmployer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5 % of the Contract price. (DD/FDR)
