Providing and laying 150mm Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub–Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as 10 MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.
Providing and laying 230mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 360 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fix form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision and cost of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing and panel size 2.75 mtr. x 3.75 mtr., (on Derabasi road side) and panel size 3.75 mtr. x 5.00 mtr., (from Km. RD 157.753 to 158.203) and dowel bars 400 mm long M.S 32 mm dia @ 300 mm C/C, tie bars-640 mm deformed bars, 12 mm dia @ 720 mm C/C, provide 125 micron PVC sheet between DLC & PQC and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS). Note: - Minimum cement contents for this item will be 360 Kg. per cum of concrete as per approved job mix formula. If the cement content is more than 360 kg/cum, then the extra cement will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.
Providing and laying 200 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage –cum-filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel pipe post 80 mm NB medium class 4 mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (600 mm X 600 mm X 750 mm) complete as per drawings Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Size 1200mm x 900mm.
Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Providing and marking centerline /side line 2.5 mm thick minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide / 15 cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause no. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (5th revision0 of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall ha e the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer batch number, date of manufacturer color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint- Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/ Prismo. The glass beads shall be of potters/sovitec/fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test report from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 part-3) Note:-Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Earth work in embankment in central verge and including excavation of earth, in all kind of soil including dressing, watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer. Note:- No earth work will allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
