1. General Description: • Green Shade Net (Mahua Net) is intended for collecting food-grade Mahua flowers while preventing forest fires and ensuring better quality yield. The net must be durable, lightweight, and breathable, ensuring efficient collection and minimal environmental impact. 2. Material & Composition: • Material: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with UV stabilization. • Color: Green (standard), but alternative eco-friendly colors (black/dark green) are acceptable. • Shade Factor: 50% to 75% (to allow airflow while retaining Mahua flowers). • GSM (Fabric Weight): Minimum 100-150 GSM for strength and durability. • Mesh Type: Knitted or woven fabric to prevent tearing and withstand weather conditions. 3. Dimensions & Coverage: • Roll Width: 3m to 6m (customizable based on requirement). • Roll Length: 15m or 16m or 18m or 20m per roll for easy handling & quick installation. • Coverage per Tree: 200-250 m² per tree, as per site conditions. • Customization: Must allow easy cutting and stitching without fraying. 4. Durability & Weather Resistance: • UV Resistance: Minimum 5 years outdoor life under direct sunlight. • Tear Strength: High tear resistance to withstand winds, rain, and impact from falling Mahua flowers. • Water Permeability: Semi-permeable to prevent waterlogging while allowing air circulation. • Fire Resistance: Treated with fire-retardant coating or naturally fire-resistant to reduce forest fire risks. 5. Edge Reinforcement & Fixing Mechanism: • Edges: Heat-sealed or reinforced with double-layer stitching for enhanced strength. • Eyelets/Grommets: Rust-proof aluminum/plastic grommets at every regular interval for easy installation. • Tie Ropes: UV-resistant nylon or polyester ropes (minimum 6mm thickness) for secure tying to trees. 6. Environmental & Food-Grade Safety: • Non-toxic, food-grade material (safe for Mahua flowers used for edible purposes). • Chemical-Free Processing: No harmful dyes or coatings that can contaminate Mahua flowers. • Eco-Friendly & Recyclable: 100% recyclable HDPE, compliant with environmental sustainability norms. 7. Packaging & Delivery: • Packaging should ensure easy handling and storage. • Labeling must include GSM, size, UV protection details, and manufacturer details. • Delivery in batches based on site requirements. 8. Warranty & Performance Guarantee: • Minimum 5-year warranty against UV degradation and wear & tear. • Supplier must provide a quality certification report on GSM, UV resistance, and durability. Quoted price (per Square Meter) should be inclusive of GST, Quality Certification, cost of packaging, transportation & delivery to different sites in Kalda Range of South Panna Forest Division.
