REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF FENCING, BOUNDARY WALL AND MISC WORKS AT KARU ZONE-I IN THE AREA OF AGE B/R-I UNDER GE 860 EWS

Dismantling post or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section incl taking out embedded portion in concrete, brick work, masonry etc and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/dense soil each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) in foundations, post hole, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F mild steel work in angle iron posts & struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe – 290 Gde E -165complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair chain link fencing of MS GI wire mesh of size 50x 50mm of 3mm dia of GI wire including line wires any mesh size and type to any type standards rails straining bolts etc including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm and n.exc 10cm long with dia of the neck 5 to 10mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering doors etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (Unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete type B1, 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as floor finish even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as sub base to floor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 15mm thick Screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in CM 1:6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigments complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Precast cement concrete block masonry type C1 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with solid blocks, exc. 10cm in width and, setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on wall etc incl raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 and to be finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting lines, dashes, arrows etc. on curve stones, roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white , black or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Machine pressed precast conctete coloured interlocking paver block any shape and size fixed with grey cement and pigment confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness M-35 grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Sand filling as cushioning under floors including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Providing, cement concrete in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges type B1 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for dismantling Trellis work (Jafri), including taking as under of battens in trellis (posts and rails measured separately) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B 0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) louvers and jallies, 25 mm thick (measured solid) including all moulding and frame work set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for one coat of exterior emulsion tera cota on plaster, concrete surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing new surfaces including priming plastered and other surfaces with priming paint and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing old plastered or unplastered surfaces including washing rubbing down and scrapping smoke soot moulds, moss and greasing sports with steel wire brush and applying one coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Ladders, scaffolding will be provided by Contractor where required)

Preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth , priming with a coat of red oxide primer and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on surface of any description over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for wall cladding tile n.exc 0.10 sqm and 7 to 8 mm thick of any colour and pattern set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match including 10 mm thick rendering on wall in cement mortar 1:4 and surface finished even and fair (including dismantling of exist tile)complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
