REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF OLD U/S GI PIPE/CPVC PIPE AND ALLIED WORKS AT MIL STN TALBEHAT

Amount

Excavation in soft/loose soil trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out for repairing/ replacement of DI/CI/GI pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in & including spreading, leveling & well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of hard standing/road for crossing of pipe line as per the authorized width for taking out/laying/cleaning/repairing of CI/GI pipe lines all as directed including making good the disturbed surfaces and cut to match with the existing surface either with bituminous macadam or with PCC 1:2:4, type B-2(using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying in trenches ductile iron (DI) pipe with spigot and socketed ends centrifugally cast class 'K-7' in any length laid in trenches including necessary jointing materials complete including all necessary DI Fittings and testing all as specified and directed for 100mm dia /bore of pipes including taking out old rusted CI/DI/GI Pipe from trench/wall (DI/CI fittings shall be included in the quoted rate).

Supply and laying DI pipe with flanged ends centrifugally cast class 'K-9' laid in trenches/ wall / overhead tank of any length of 150mm dia/bore including necessary jointing material complete and testing all as specified and directed including taking out old rusted CI/DI/GI Pipe from trench/wall (DI/CI fittings shall be included in the quoted rate).

Supply and lay steel water tubing GI medium grade ISI marked with all necessary fittings and fixtures (Socket, elbow, bend, nipple, union etc.) laid in trenches or fixed to wall etc. including taking up or down old unserviceable pipe line complete for the following sizes Note :Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for 200mm bore ductile iron (DI) fittings such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type,(straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) tee pieces single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs including taking up old unserviceable fitting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for actual detecting the leakage of existing GI pipe line any type laid in trenches/ wall/ floor including excavation upto one cum taking out existing pipeline and repair including replacement of GI fitting such as tee, socket, reducer, elbow, union, etc. complete and refixing after testing for leakage proof pipe line and including returning filling and making good to disturbed surface complete for following bore of GI pipe line :-

S&F Gun metal gate valve ISI marked with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipes and fixed for the following sizes including taking down of unserviceable gate valves.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing in repair of cast iron sluice valve class I (ISI MARKED) PN-1.6 type latest IS 14846-2000 flanged ends, drilled having stainless steel spindle with cast iron wheel head at top complete with nuts, bolts, washer and rubber gasket etc. complete including taking up/down unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed for following bore of CI pipe line.

S&F in repair CPVC male brass threaded adopter for CPVC Pipe outer diameter 20mm including taking down old unserviceable adopter all as specified and directed

S&F in repair CPVC female brass threaded adopter for CPVC Pipe outer diameter 20mm including taking down old unserviceable adopter all as specified and directed

Dismantling old broken / damaged valve pit chamber of size 1050mm x 1050mm x 1050mm (internal dimension) complete including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (internally) and including 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth and PCC work

All as per item No 17 above but size of valve chamber is 900 x 900 x 900 mm (internal) and all as specified and directed.

Note :- Debris obtained from all items should be removed in low lying areas as directed by Engr-in-charge out of MOD Land. (Rates quoted for items are deemed to be included for this, where removal of debris in the items is not considered.)
