Outsourcing for Operation of Switching ON / OFF installation machinery of HQ 10 Corps Electric Sub Station cum receving station in two shifts with One Electrician (Skilled ) / Per Shift (Each shift of 8 Hours continuous duration) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shift Timings :- (i) Ist shift -0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs. (ii) 2nd Shift- 1600 Hrs to 2400 Hrs .

Notes for Srl item No. 2.00 to 7.00 of BOQ :- Note No.1:- (i) One Electrician ( Skilled) shall be employed by the contractor for Manning and Operation in each shift (Each shift of 8 Hours continuous duration) as per time table and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge . (ii) Electrician shall keep neat and clean the Installation including cutting of grass surface . No additional cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account. . (iii) The Contractor shall provide suitable Reliver (Electrician Skilled ) during weekly rest of employed Electrician Skilled .No additional cost will be paid on this account. (iv) Necessary , transportation,tools and plants including required ladder shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (v) Cleaning of Sub Station area out door and indoor shall be carried out daily and contractor shall be fully responsible for the same.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (vi) The contractor shall maintain a complaint register at the installation / sub station. Complaint description filled by contractor employ on complaint slip and these complaint slips shall be got signed from user after attending the complaint to the satisfaction of user. These complaint slips shall be kept in record.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (vii) Major complaints in the Substation shall be immediately intimate to concerned JE E/M or AGE E/M. (viii) The street lights in the area shall be Put ON and OFF at the timing Schedule as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ix) First aid Box complete with medicines shall be kept at the installation.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II

Material and labour for attending urgent nature electric complaints in respective area including Opening / Disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT cable of any size & any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line including Taking down MCCB ,MCB from Panel and taking down street light fittings from pole & timer etc in respective areas etc. including made serviceable , Taking out the length of cable ( to be required) from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable ,providing (to be required) thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc. all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) The cost of excavation & earth work,returning filling, in relaying of sand / bricks and cost of drawing the( to be required) length from protection pipe ,breaking of brick work / concrete / plaster ( to be required) and redoing ( to be required) for work to match the existing surface shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra should be paid on this account.(ii) Additional cable / protection pipe/ MCCB /MCB if required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly. (iii) During currency period of contract , contractor shall attending the complaints regularely (daily based) .The rates of this aspect is included in this and nothing shall be extra paid on this account . Please note one time payment shall be made to contractor for these items.if any fault / defects occured , contractor shall rectify / replace the same without any extra cost in terms of condition 46 of IAFW-2249 of General condtion of contracts.

Dismantling / Disconnecting / removing the faulty / burnt out Over head conductor of any type / any size from insulator on LT Pole any type after taking proper shut down, removal of tree / branches if any fell on over head line, loose the binding wire in each insulators and disconnecting cable connection if any , remove the burnt / damage conductor / earth wire, making joint with new ACSR conductor of suitable size as directed, restretching all the loose spans for tightening to maintain proper sag, binding conductor & earth wire with insulators with new binding wire of existing size, making connection of existing LT cable in old position position including cutting of tree branches, if any and removing from site and testing over head line all as directed Note: (i) Cost for attending fault, cutting and removal of broken piece of tree/ branches, disconnection and jointing of binding wire with insulator, restretching required conductor, making connection with existing cable deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(ii) Cost for new ACSR conductor, earth wirem insulators used if any shall be measured and paid seperately . Cost of bining wire is inclueded in quoted rates.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for pipe line, cable trenches etc not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour sand cushioning using clean Fine River sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ( Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying Best quality, locally available, sub class ‘B’ clay bricks (Old Size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unservicable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches / wall / roof / road / pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Relaying of old serviceable under ground PVC/XLPE LT cable of any grade , any size reterived from serial item No.17.00 here-in- before, laid in trenches / fixed to wall / pole / roof / laid in floor including necessary connections and thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Earth work, brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item).

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / hard standing /along poles and testing Poly vinyl Chloride (PVC) LT Cable, with PVC outer sheath Type-I as per IS - 5831, insulated stranded aluminium conductor as Per Class-2 of IS - 8130 served with and inner sheathining of PVC tape- ST-I as per IS-5831 color Red, Yellow, Blue & Black ,armoured with Galvanised steel strip or wire and over all PVC sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS-1554 (Part-I & II) with latest amendments of Size cross sectional area 25 Sqmm 3.5 core,1100 volts grade heavy duty complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. (Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately)

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / hard standing /along poles and testing Poly vinyl Chloride (PVC) LT Cable, with PVC outer sheath Type-I as per IS - 5831, insulated stranded aluminium conductor as Per Class-2 of IS - 8130 served with and inner sheathining of PVC tape- ST-I as per IS-5831 color Red, Yellow, Blue & Black ,armoured with Galvanised steel strip or wire and over all PVC sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS-1554 (Part-I & II) with latest amendments of Size cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4.0 core,1100 volts grade heavy duty complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. (Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately)

Un binding from old insulators and taking down old unservicable insulators and re–stretching only existing ACSR of any size on LT poles including binding the ACSR with new insulators with and including aluminium binding wire 2mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) The rate of aluminium binding wire 2mm dia is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.(ii) New insulators shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of this scheule of works of BoQ.

All as per srl item No. 21 here-in-before but re–stretching only existing GI earth wire 4 mm dia on LT / HT Poles including binding with 1.63 mm dia GI binding wire all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The rate of 1.63 mm dia GI binding wire is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Cutting / trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 metre distance on each side and 3.00mtr distance on both sides of LT over head lines including collection and removal from road complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-For measurement and payment purpose each span shall be considered as 40.00 mtr. Span.If the length of span is less than 40.00mtr measurment and payment shall be considered proportionally.

Supply and fixing for shackle type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of size 75mm height, 90mm dia for working pressure 1100 volts including galvanized mild steel strips 31mm x 3 mm, washer, insulator bolts and nuts, dia of bolt 12mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- The rate of galvanized mild steel strips 31mm x 3 mm, washer, insulator bolts and nuts, dia of bolt 12mm is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra.

Supply and fixing for loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green with over all dimension 65mm x 90 mm , clearance dia of bolt 16 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-laying old bricks retrieved from srl Item No 17.00 here-in-before, for cable protection , laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing PVC separator suitable for 3/4 way conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing PVC separator suitable for 5/6 way conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
