Railway reserves the right to place order on past proven sources for the tendered item or Wagon item with this Railway/ other Zonal Railways/ Production Unit or Government Organizations. Firm should submit documentary evidence like PO Copies, R/Note, and Inspection Certificate etc. along with their offer in support of their credentials/past satisfactory performance. Non submission of such vital documents may be taken as their not having any such past performance

The minimum offer validity should be 90 days. The offer with validity less than 90 days shall be treated as ineligible and will be summarily rejected.

Time Preference : This is Time Preference order. In cases where it is decided to accept a higher price than the lowest tender consideration /interest of earlier delivery ,passing over the lowest acceptable offer ,following condition will apply: It should be noted that if a contract is placed on a higher tenderer as a result of this invitation of this tender, in preference to the lowest acceptable offer in consideration of offer of earlier delivery, the contractor will be liable to pay the government the difference between the contract rate & that of the lowest acceptable tenderer on the basis of final price FOR destination including all element of fright ,sales tax ,local taxes ,duties & other incidentals in case of failure to complete supplies in terms of such contract within the date of delivery specified in the tender & incorporated in the contract .This is in addition & without prejudice to other rights under the terms of contract.

Delivery period : Delivery period is important criteria to decide the Tender being Emergency purchase.

FOR: Destination. Firm are advised to quote with delivery term FOR Destination. If firm will offer with delivery term FOR ex-Works and delivery by Road/Rail then firm shall dispatch the stores in such a way that it shall reach the ultimate consignee before terminal date of delivery mentioned in the contract. In such cases merely the dispatch of material within contractual delivery period does not mean that the firm has supplied the material within contractual delivery period but it shall reach to ultimate consignee on or before contractual delivery period as date of supply of material.
