Amount

Excavation in trenches for foundations, laying / taking out of cables, erecting of poles etc, in any type of soil, not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in width and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per the description of Srl item No 1 herein above but depth exceeding 1.50 metre but not exceeding 3.00 metre

Returning, filling in soils, in trenches, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated soils to a distance exceeding 50 metres and not exceeding 100 metres and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point.

Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates), in foundation and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping, blocks, bed plates, kerbs etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including as necessary formwork as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, erection and fixing in position 9.00 metre long, steel tubular swaged poles complete with mild steel base plate, flat top welded type 410, SP-31 IS:2713 marked, drilling of necessary holes including bolts, nuts and washers as required and painting with two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed, surfaces of poles and two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally and externally upto the planting depth including providing 03 Nos reflective strips of width 10cm at a height of 1.20m from ground level in alternate colour (green white and green) around the pole as approved by GE and marking pole number at appropriate height with shade and colour as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed, with and including dismantling and taking up old existing damaged steel tubular pole and removing from site of work complete all as directed. Note : Excavation earthwork and concrete work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade heavy duty aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed for following size :-

(a) Cross sectional area 35 Sqmm 3.50 Core.

(b) Cross section area 25Sqmm 4.00 Core

(c) Cross section area 16 Sqmm 4.00 Core

(d) Cross section area 10 Sqmm 4.00 Core

Multi stranded copper cable PVC insulated unearthed 1100Volts grade of size 2.50 Sqmm 3.00 Core for connection from junction box to light fitting and making connection and testing for functioning of light fitting complete all as specified and as directed with and including taking down old damaged cable and removing from site of work, complete all as of directed.

PVC insulated sheeted 1100volts grade twin core 10.00 Sqmm size Aluminium conductor service cable making connection and testing for functioning complete all as specified and as directed with and including taking down old damaged cable and removing from site of work complete all as directed

Street light mounting bracket suitable for LED fitting of length 1.50 metre, made out of light grade GI pipe of 50mm bore bent to shape (120 degree) as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete with two No GI Clamps made to shape out of 50mm x 6mm flat iron, with GI nuts, bolts and washers of suitable size for fixing on pole wall complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking down old damaged bracket and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Hot pressed moulded SMC junciton Box of size not les than 270mm x 130mmx95mm, side hinged door with lockable arrangement with and including aluminum bus bar TPN capacity 200 Amps with one No MCB 2.50 Amps SP10 KA 'C' Curve with provision of tapping incoming and outgoing cable connection with gland box of suitbale size and fixing on pole or grouting in PCC muff complete all as specified and as directed with and including taking out old unserviceable junction box and removing from site of work complete all as directed.

50mm bore steel water tubing light grade, laid in trenches / fixed to walls / under roads etc as protection to cable, with all fittings and fixtures like mild steel flat iron clamps, nuts, bolts and washer of appropriate size and shape as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up / down old damage steel pipe and removing from site of wrok complete all as directed.

50mm bore steel water tubing, medium grade fixed / erected as post for PTL fitting, fixed appropriately on ground with cement concrete or clamps, nuts, bolts as approved/directed by Enginee-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed with and including taking down old damaged steel pipe and removing from site of work complete all as directed.

Double wall corrugated HDPE duct pipe of 50mm outer dia conforming to IS:14930 Pt-II with antirodant and non flame propergating properties of make and colour as approved by Engineer-in-Charge with fittings as protection to cable, laid in tranches or fixed to poles/walls complete with and including taking up/ down old damaged pipe and removing from site of work complete all as directed.

Painting of existing steel tubular poles 9.00 metre long with one coat of Aluminium paint on pole and cross arm, clamps, brackets fitted/fixed on pole, above to 1.20 metre height of pole including preparing the steel surfaces to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and providing 03 Nos reflective strips of width 10cm at a height of 1.20 metre from ground level in alternate colour green white and green around the pole as approved by GE and marking pole number at appropriate height with shade and colour as approved by Engieer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of tree branches ( girth not more than 10 cm) falling over the street lights for all around clearance of the fittings carefully to avoid any damage to the light fittings and disposing of the cut tree branches to a distance not more than 100 mtrs complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement LED Flood Light luminaire of capacity 120 Watt,system lumen efficacy not less than 100 lumen per watt, total system lumens not less than 12000 lumens, PF>0.90 ,CRI not less than 70, THD not more than 10 %, surge protection not less than 5 KV internal and 10 kV external, colour temp 5700 k +-300k, operating voltage ranging from 120V to 270 V at 50 Hz AC frequency,Pressure die cast aluminium housing in powder coated finish , heat resistant toughened glass , gasket etc ,protection class IP 66 complete as all as specified and directed . Notes:- 1. Each luminaire should be printed on the luminaire fittings as "MES", CA No: GE(U)/CHM-01/2021-22 2. The contractor shall submit test report from manufacturer of the LED fittings giving detail of each parameter /specifications of led luminaire mentioned in the BOQ item to comply with minimum requirements mentioned therein. 3. The contractor shall also submit LM-79 & LM-80 test report from any valid NABL accreditation laboratory. 4. The contractor shall submit warranty certificate from manufacturer for minimum 2 years.

The driver should be fetted with electrolytic capacitor of min 105 degrees rating and must be with phase to phase protection, external SPD should be minimum 10 KV capacity. Notes:- 1. Supply & Fixing in replacement dome type globe light fittings 8 inch diameter with polycarbonate diffuser or milky white with B-22 holder and LED warm white bulb of 14 Watt, for fixing arrangement on pole / pipe complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement RGB LED Flood Light luminaire of capacity 50 Watt lighting colour RGB lighting type with remote to change colours IP 65 protection, aluminium die cast housing, PF >0.95, LED driver, over voltage & under voltage protection, short circuit protection, with hanging & locking arrangement complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- 1. Each luminaire should be printed on the luminaire fittings as "MES", CA No: GE(U)/CHM-01/2021-22 2. Supply and fixing in replacement LED Bollard type garden light fitting 9 watt capactiy (warm white) and 600mm height, decorative and cylindrical shape LED bollard light with integrated driver, soft and comfortable uniform light distribution with opal diffusar & aluminium reflector complete with fixing bolts/nuts & all accessories / fitting complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- 1. Each luminaire should be printed on the luminaire fittings as "MES", CA No: GE(U)/CHM-01/2021-22 2. The contractor shall submit test report from manufacturer of the LED fittings giving detail of each parameter /specifications of led luminaire mentioned in the BOQ item to comply with minimum requirements mentioned therein. 3. The contractor shall also submit LM-79 & LM-80 test report from any valid NABL accreditation laboratory. 4. The contractor shall submit warranty certificate from manufacturer for minimum 2 years.

Attending defective/ non functional street light complaints ( Street light/ flood light/post top light of any type/ any size fitted on pole/wall/post/pillars etc) and street light feeder faults (OH lines or UG Cables) such as short circuiting, snapping of conductors phase/neutral loss in UG cables by deploying one electrician and one helper daily including sundays & holidays from 0900 hrs to 1700hrs and repairing the same to make the lights functional and serviceable by repairing and/ or replacing the defective parts/electrical items of any type as per existing, checking of connections etc complete all as specified and as directed for : OTM accn area, all units, across Kalka units. KS Marg, Philora Marg, Water supply and electric supply installation at Chandimandir cantt. NOTES : (i) Supply and fixing/Replacement of defective parts of light fittings/defective lights fittings shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Contractor is required to deploy one electrician having ITI certification with 05 years practical experience and one helper having 03 years practical experience from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs and vehicle mounted ladder including driver. Contractor himself personally or through accredited representative will attend the office of Engineer-in-Charge at 0930 hrs to receive the complaints and compliance reports on making functional lights shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge at 1630hrs. Failures on the part of contractor or his accredited representative to report the office of Engineer-in-Charge at above mentioned hours/timing will be liable for a penalty of Rs 2000/- per day.

(iii) Contractor shall provide conveyance to the deployed workmen at his own cost. (iv) The contractor has to keep the vehicle fitted with mounted ladder fully functional and operative for 0900hrs to 1700hrs all the days. In case of maintenance of the vehicle, other arrangements for vehicle fitted with mounted ladder shall have to be made by the contractor, in advance. Failure on the part of contractor for above compliance or replacement of vehicle in case of breakdown will be liable for penalty of Rs 3000/- per day. (v) Failure on the part of contractor to make the light functional on very same day after receipt of complaint in the office of Engineer-in-Charge is liable for penalty of Rs 500/- on per complaint per day. (vi) Failure on the part of contractor to deploy his team of electrician and helper with vehicle fitted with mounted ladder and driver during the hrs mentioned above is liable for a penalty of Rs 5000/- per day. (vii) All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor to his workmen. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the persons deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident/injury of any type. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to inclusive of the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on his part. (viii) All type of T&P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts /washers etc required for maintenance of the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department. (ix) Any loose/broken overhead conductor shall be re-stringed /repaired to make the system functional in all respects and unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of the same.
