FIRE FIGHTING WORKS

Hydrant (Main Pump set) : Supplying , Installation,Testing and Commissioning of electric Driven Main hydrant Pump set suitable for automatic operation consisting of following complete in all respect with following specifications as required :-

(i) Horizontal type, centrifugal ,Split casing pump of cast iron body and bronze impeller with stain less steel shaft, mechanical seal and farthest outlet at specified flow of 2280 LPM and 70 Metre head conforming to IS 1520 ( The pump should be capable of delivering 150% rated discharge at a head not less than 65% of the rated head)

(ii) Suitable HP SQ cage induction motor 60 HP, TEFC Synchronous speed 29 RPM suitable for operation on 415 volts. 3 phase 50 Hz. AC with IP 55 protection for enclosure. Horizontal foot mounted type withClass-F insulation Class F , conforming to IS-325,

(iii) M S fabricated common base plate, coupling ,couplingguard, foundation bolts ect.as requried.

(iv) Suitable CC foundation of 1:2:4 ratio (1 cement; 2coarse sand :4 grade stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) doly plastered and with anti vibration pads.

Diesel Driven Pump (Standby) : Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of diesel engine driven main fire pump suitable for automatic operation consisting of the following, complete in all respect as required conforming to specifications attached. (A) Horizontal mounting, End Suction type single stage centrifugal pump with cast iron body and bronze impeller with steel shaft of C-40 grade, capable of discharging 2280 litres / minute of water at 70 metres head to give a pressure of not less than 3.5 Kg/Sq cm at topmost Hydrant point. (Confirming to IS-1520/9137) (Make . Kirloskar ,ABB, Cormpton. ). (B) 62 BHP, 1800 RPM water cooled with radiator, diesel engine conforming to relevant BS&IS standard complete with auto starting mechanism 12V/24 V electric starting equipment, with necessary battery as per manufacturer's requirement mounted on suitable stand, charging arrangement, exhaust pipe, residential silencer, instruments and protection as per specification, stop solenoid for auto stop in the event of fault with audio indications, painted with post office red colour etc as required. (C) MS fabricated Common base plate, coupling guard, foundation bolts etc as required. (D) Fuel tank suitable for min 12 hrs running & its foundation, suitable for 150 ltr diesel & with suitable wheel valve on supply line. (E) . The exhaust pipe to be extended upto 1mtr outside the pump room with necessary rainwater cap etc. (F) Suitable cement concrete foundation of height 150 mm on the pump room floor with a minimum 100 mm space all around the base frame.

Jockey Pump (Wet Riser System) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of electrical driven jockey pump (meant for hydrants) suitable for automatic operations, consisting of the following, conforming to specifications attached. (A) Horizontal mounting, End Suction type centrifugal pump with cast iron body and bronze impeller with steel shaft of C-40 grade, capable of discharging 180 litres / minute of water at 70 metres head to give a pressure of not less than 3.5 Kg/Sq cm at topmost Hydrant point. (Confirming to IS-1520) (Make of Pump: M/s. Kirloskar Model CPHM 25/26A with Impeller dia 232 mm or similar superior .) (B) 11KW/15 HP Capacity Two pole totally enclosed fan cooled type squirrel cage A.C. induction motor suitable for 3 phase, 415 V +/-10%, 50 Hz +/- 5% A.C. supply, with IP 55 protection for enclosure, horizontal mounted type with 'F' class insulation (Confirming to IS-325) (Make : M/s. Kirloskar,ABB,Crompton. frame size 160 or similar superior approved make).

Fabricating ,Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of cubical construction floor mounted type, fabricating from 2 mm thick CRCA sheet compartmentalised withhinged lockable doors, dust and vermin proof, powder coated of approved shade after 7 tank treatment process, cable alley, inter connection, having swichgear and accessories mounting and internal wiring, earth terminal numbering etc complete in all respect suitable for operation on 415 V .Three Phase, 50 Hz, Ac supply withencloser protection class IP 42 as required.

Providing 4-way collecting breaching head PCD 240mm with 63 mm dia instantaneous type inlet +150 mm dia flanged outlet with built incheck valve for fire brigade connection to UG Tank +wet riser I.S 904 specification test for 20kg/mm2 including necessary support complete in all respect..

Providing Cast iron /steel Butterfly Valve Confirming to type P.N 1.6 of I.S 13095-1991 Complete with Flanges bolt ,nuts ,gasket etc. As per table 'E' specification complete in all respect hydraulically test to 20 K./sqcm.

Supply, Installing, testing and commissioning of 25mm dia gate valve with all accessories as requried.

Providing & fixing of IS marked (IS:15683) CO2 type 4.5 kg fire extinguisher, PESO approved cylinder, filled in house with CO2 gas with purity as per IS:15222, aluminium collar and valve wheel, metal lined rubber discharge hose, external PU paint coating , UV resistant vinyl label, QR code complete in all respects including initial fill with CO2 gas confirming to IS:15222 filled to a filling ratio of not more than 0.667 and wall suspension bracket.
